Hi, thanks for your response yesterday.
Just been reading your summary and thoughts on tonight`s game.
I am a bit surprised to read you think we are a poor side.
The fact is we are a side in transision, not a poor side.
Although we lost at home to Bournmouth, had we played as we did against them tonight
I think we would of finished you off earlier tonight.
I have seen boxers dance rings round their opponent for 10 rounds and then bang
they find themselves getting up off the floor on the count of 10, beaten.
I thought Everton played ok tonight, but lack penetration, 6 passes when 1 will do.
I have no doubt you will finish in the top 8, but I think you lack that cutting edge.
Give us 10 games or so and we will be a much better outfit, new cars need running in don`t they.

I think you’ll surprise a lot of teams this year.

I watched your first game against Spurs and thought you looked very disciplined plus McGinn looks a great signing and actually plays in the right position. I see him as a Bernard type player and he causes mayhem because he’s given a free role.

You look like a team desperate to prove you deserve to be in the league whereas we look like a time complacent that we’ll always be there but without the confidence to achieve anything in it.

I thought Wesley looked a handful, i had never seen him play before yesterday, he could be a big player. I think Villa will find themselves in mid table this year comfortably.

Hi Dave, the more proper clubs in the Prem can only improve it . Villa are one of those, as are Sheffield United. If only we could lose some of the Mickey Mouse clubs like Chelsea and Liverpool!

What is a proper club Gary? The prem should be about the ability of the club not how many fans it has or its history.
In my life I have seen City in division 3 as it was then, United in the second division, West Ham etc. Is Bournmouth a proper club? Was Wimbledon a proper club. Success comes from being good at football not on your fan base and so it should be that is what makes it a great game.
