According to the 'Citeh' site

It's maybe Bony for Stones??

Really, how about Aiden McGeady a marvelous player that we would miss like crazy, for another player instead, OK a step down but hey we are just so dizzy when it comes to straight swaps let's say errrm Kevin De Bruyne . . . you must have seen us coming!

Blue247

1.) 30 Jun 2016 08:42:24
Need to get the drug testers to city, Bony swap for Stones, obviously taking something.

2.) 30 Jun 2016 11:50:09
They can have some stones from my garden as long as they pay Bony's wages.

3.) 30 Jun 2016 13:35:37
It's Bony plus 20k for Stones still not a good deal.

4.) 30 Jun 2016 13:44:04
20k? I do hope you mean 20m! What the difference a letter can make.

According to 'Football Insider'

''Everton sent scouts to watch Newcastle's Georginio Wijnaldum with a view to making a move for the attacker, according to a report.

Koeman is reported to be on the verge of a move to Everton to become their new manager and is thought to be a big admirer of his compatriot. ''.

Meeting with Emery 'arranged'

Mmmm sounds good!

Blue247

1.) 23 May 2016 12:08:20
Looking at his stats 5th, 5th and 7th (this season) looks on a par with Moyes. Think I would rather Pellegrini to be honest.

2.) 23 May 2016 12:36:08
dont forget Bill he has had 2 huge cup runs mate where he won the Europa for a 3rd consecutive time and got beat in CDR by Barcelona, these 3 years of great cup runs/ wins would damage league positions with a club like Sevilla as hardly as if they have a huge squad, if you look at it that way then no brainer for me mate, oh yeh he battered the Koppites too which is a bonus but even without that he looks a great prospect, if it happens I hope he ravages that Sevilla side as some cracking players there.

3.) 23 May 2016 14:17:13
Bill, why on earth do you want Pellegrini?

4.) 23 May 2016 17:30:48
Emery didn't just batter the Koppites, he made them cry!
That'll do for me!

5.) 23 May 2016 20:07:36
No-one made the kopites cry more than pardew but we wouldn't want him.

''Hot off the heels of a joint-announcement with the club that Walton Hall Park will now be pursued, Anderson says that the club will have a stadium in Liverpool and the timescale will be quicker than most Evertonians believed would happen. ''

Bloody Hell if that doesn't get us wound up with curiosity nothing will.

Blue247

1.) 16 May 2016 15:31:58
The announcement is that Walton Hall park is off and a brownfield site will be used (Radio Merseyside)

2.) 16 May 2016 15:42:43
Council want Croxteth

Club wants Canada Dock.

Result may rest on Peel Holdings.

3.) 16 May 2016 15:45:04
I do hope its right mate and not a spin from Joe to keep us happy, this is the 4th time now, WTF.

4.) 16 May 2016 15:54:23
Croxteth, are we all getting bullet proof vests with our season tickets.

That was a joke, before all the Crocky heads kick off :)

5.) 16 May 2016 21:07:28
Peel holdings are notoriously difficult to deal with and so I doubt anything would happen with them. Also it has been stated that one of the sites is north liverpool (Croxteth) and the other one east liverpool. Not sure where that one is?

All this posting and counter posting then countering the counterpost about Ross omg 😖

The Idrissa 'AFCON' issue and it could be a huge issue as he could potentially miss PL games with City, Palace, Stoke and Bournemouth as well as the FA Cup third round tie with god knows who? .

RK is said to be looking at alternitives and do you know what I bet he's pretty much got it sorted and hopefully a few less injury probs. bringing some players back 🙂.

Blue247

1.) 24 Sep 2016 09:59:23
Hopefully by the blue Jimmy Mac will be performing to the level expected by RK and will be Gueyes replacement until he returns. James can tackle and has the enervy levels to do the tracking he just needs the awareness of space around him to be adequate cover. Remember before this season his only top flight coach/ manager was Martinez. I believe he will come good and has a future at the club.

2.) 24 Sep 2016 10:33:21
''I believe he ( Jimmy Mac) will come good and has a future at the club. ''

I've got my fingers crossed on that as well Gray, Mo and Gibbo could hopefully be available also and something tells me Idrissa doesn't need extra competition he been a real dynamo a pure power house so far!

3.) 24 Sep 2016 12:54:32
I like jimmy. He's an honest pro and fights on that pitch. I've said before he has a bad manager in RM for far too long and we need to give him a chance under a proper manager to see if he can develop.

I'd be very happy for him in that midfield.

Anyone else just down right excited about what we are capable of in 12months to 2 years under Koeman. I lose my breath thinking about it!

{Ed025's Note - i think if macca can benefit from RK,s experience and gana,s example then jimmy can hopefully fill the void when idrissa goes to the ACON john..

Great tweet by Mr Yobo

'' - Joseph Yobo (@jyobo234) August 27, 2016

Everton looking like they are up a notch! A manager who is not a fantasist helps. ''

Ouch đŸ˜Ŧ 😏.

Blue247

1.) 28 Aug 2016 10:02:02
Nail and Head come to mind.

2.) 28 Aug 2016 11:07:46
I thought that was chris suttons twenty. still correct though.

3.) 28 Aug 2016 11:33:13
My bad Dentie 🙄 Sorry Chris top bloke mate 😉.

27 Jun 2016 15:33:15
according to 'Inside fotbol' RK has put in a bid for 'LÊo Lacroix'

Ed001 ( if your'e avaialable) have you any thoughts re his performances against the Reds?

Cheers.

Blue247

{Ed001's Note - I really can't remember him standing out to be honest. The Sion defence seemed a decent unit, well drilled. To be honest, with Koeman in charge, his system tends to work well to protect defenders and get the most out of them, in the main. So I would not have any worries about anyone he targeted.}

1.) 27 Jun 2016 19:24:50
Thanks for the reply Ed. Never watched those 2 matches however they weren't 'goal fests' to say the least which kind of indicated to me the Swiss lads were fairly solid at the back.

{Ed001's Note - to be honest, Liverpool never played well in either, so it is difficult to judge him. If it had been played later in the Klopp era, it would have given a better idea.}

16 Jun 2016 07:33:58
I really am interested in the first RK signings or should I say new additions .

Judging him negatively on these will imo be the wrong thing to do he has a rep. of being very very flexible and pragmatic.
So if he doesn't go for 'Marquee players' straightaway I'll trust HIS 'priorities' before those who are waiting with baited breath to 'slam' him etc. . .
My guess and certainly my hope is, that he already has a plan and a plan 'b'!

Blue247

1.) 16 Jun 2016 08:09:36
I agree mate, only thing is some posters will never be happy and are continually negative, to expect immediate success is ridiculous but like I said some posters will never change, a player has a couple of bad games and they will be on his back, whatever we get we will always want more, that's the human way, look at Arsenal in CL for 20 years and they all still moan.

2.) 16 Jun 2016 10:08:22
What is a marquee signing anyway? A player that cost a lot because their club don't want to sell? A proven international that plays in a league that we think is good? I'd be happy with any signing that affects the team in a positive way enabling us to finish top of the league and win some silverware but then wouldn't we all, hang on we are Everton so there is bound to be someone moaning! Even if it does happen.

14 Jun 2016 06:20:35
''I'm among the best, " Lukaku told World Football magazine a week ago.

This guy needs to take a deep breath hold it for a second, breath out slowly and admit to himself that Jose wasn't that wrong about him and Everton gave him a chance and the patience he would never have got from a CL team!

Italian defenders have probably cost us millions by exposing his failings. . . what price now for 'billy big balls'?

Blue247

1.) 14 Jun 2016 06:42:33
Maybe he will see after this tournament that he's not as good as he thinks, a big maybe I know. But the thing is he has 3 years left on his contract and therefore there is no risk in still asking for top dollar or stay put.

RK can then get to work on his game and his behaviour.

''concerned''

Me too Sid. . There have been so many 'jack of all trades' stadia that do not fulfill the needs of the 'football fan' who is a differrent spcies all together from a spectator of the long jump let's say .
So sitting down in the cold light of day I would hope the decision makers avoid making this glaring blunder!

The fans need to be as close to the action as legally possible, as is practical as possible! and outside the ground whether it be retro or avant garde and progressively groundbreaking . as long as it looks like we mean business on and off the pitch especially from the aerial and river view!
In fact a world renowned iconic symbol of Merseyside and Football.

Anyway something on those lines. . đŸ˜ŗ.

A well written article and ''Is Guardiola really the genius the media have made him out to be? . . this question was always going to be posed in this country lionizing and denouncing is a national pass time!

Imo this season will be a massive learning curve for Pep and his approach to the PL will have to be adaptable and flexible he may find winning ugly is a must do thing, or they will fail to reach the heights forecasted by swooning pundits and hype artists.

RL . . Unless Idrissa pulls the plug on his international career, I can't see RK selling McCarthy in Jan. mate, he would need to buy before selling in this case imo.
