Its beyond a joke now. Barkley was terrible. kept giving the ball away and not tracking back. can't do the simple thing or give a simple pass. should have been dragged off early. As for bringing on a forward with four mins to go, does he expect miracles. wonder what spin he will put on it this week.

I think you're on to something there. Maybe it's because I expect to lose I don't care when we do. All I know is that these abject performances are making me apathetic to the whole situation. It's gone on for too long, changes need to be made.

We have become very formulaic. anyone can guess the formation and the kind of players we will field. it feels like team selection and formation by Martinez is not dependent upon the oppositions squad, formation, strengths or weaknesses. that's the frustration I feel. there seems no thought in our starting 11 or the subs and the timing of them. and it's been the same all this season and last.

I sais last week I was happy Barry had been suspended, well I'm happy to eat my words. He was absolute quality today, ran the midfield, a proper captain's performance. Sorry Gareth. Made up for Arouna, really good performance, Starting to like this guy alot, I think his hold up play is excelent and he rarely loses the ball. Fully deserved the hat-trick. Mori is looking like a decent signing and as for Tim, we all know his best days are behind him, but he did make a couple of good saves today, I know it wasn't a perfect performance and he needs replacing but credit were it's due he was better today than he has been recently.

So glad we're signing Cleverley, yet another astute decision by Martinez. I can't believe this guy, just when I think that surely one man cannot be this gifted, he pulls off another bit of magic. He's exactly the sort of player we need to take us to the next level. The prospect of having him in our midfield next season, watching him pulling the strings and running games is unbelievably exciting. Surely now we must be favourites for one of the champions league places. Pure genius Roberto.

Brilliant, cracking performance from the lads, and such inspired tactics and team selection. We are so lucky to have this genius at our club. Thank you Roberto for restoring the quality we have become used to this season. Was thoroughly disappointed with the way we played in the last two games. Please Bill, keep this guy, in fact why don't you offer him an extension, might stop the likes of Barcelona poaching this managerial God.

No probs ed, just starting to get a bit frustrated with people mentioning moyes. Yes he did great taking us from where we were when he took over but we should be aiming higher than that now. We're not that club anymore. Not to mention his attitude towards us after he left. No in my opinion it would be a step backwards.
