Was that Andy Hinchcliffe having a personal vendetta against Everton and handball decisions? he was so wrong, hands in wrong position etc he's played the game and you know you cannot control every movement!
Best result is NFFC officially calling the var operative a cheat!

I agree they would of been harsh if they had been given but it wouldn't of shocked me either if they had been.

Think all 3 were pens, be fuming if it was other way round, don't like the handball one but in today's game it's a pen, other 2 no question for me.

We've had our fair share of poor reffing and VAR decisions, but again the integrity of the game is once again brought into question, made up for the win as a Everton fan but as a football fan the games full of corruption.

{Ed025's Note - spot on Mocker mate..

Definite pens, but what goes around comes around and with the amount of appalling decisions against this season will take this win and happily move on,

Don't blame Forest for calling VAR out, but happy with the win. I'm taking it as payback for all the wrong decisions that have gone against us.

Of course GB, but to have 3 big calls in a game like that and not to even be looked at in this age of VAR and scrutiny and for Forest to pre game question the VAR official before the game with his alliance to Luton just shows just shows how much corruption is within the game that for me runs football, we all moan and have had our fair share but 3 in a game is scandalous and serious questions of football officials asked again.

The win more than likely gets us safe, anything from the Derby would be a bonus.

Was made up for Mcneil, you could tell with celebrations and team mates his personal problems have weighed heavy.

Don’t think the first 2 were pens - third one probably but would need to see it from a different angle to confirm.

However not sure why anyone is bothered as none were given and we came away with all 3 points.

Nice to finally end up benefitting from potential VAR errors as we know we’ve had our fair share go against us.

Think the tweet by Forest official account is ridiculous though - what do they genuinely expect to achieve? All I can see is refs being even stricter against them.

{Ed025's Note - take it from me Dan, all 3 were stonewall pens mate..

I think 2 were pens and one maybe (wouldn't have been overturned if ref gave it) . That said it this instance Forest are confusing corrupting for ineptitude by both PGMOL and reffing team. In the old days it would be brushed off as it evens itself out over a season.

Young is a disaster waiting to happen. The hand ball one would have been harsh but the other two he went through the back of the player or tackled from behind in the box. The guy is suppose to be a professional and even my five year old understands you’ll likely give away a pen for that. Stupid tackles, just utterly stupid.

They could easily have had two pens out of that. Dodgy VAR going in our favour for once. It takes the shine of the win completely. What a farce.

The last was definitely a penalty and VAR should have overturned the referee's decision as clear and obvious error ie ref thought he got the ball but he didn't
the first could have been but is one that VAR should keep out of it as a judgement call, ref knew there was contact but decided there wasn't enough for a penalty.
the handball definitely not a penalty, ball to hand.

First two were not clear and obvious errors however the third one was a stone wall penalty. Young is a liability and needs to be left at home on game day.

Agree with WT, handball at beginning of season would have been given but tightened since so correct decision. The second, the lad had already planted his foot before he decided to go down as an after thought, so no! . Certainly both nowhere near stonewall. The one that was a certain was Young through the back of the lad, a blind persons dog would have sat down on the spot and refused to move. For VAR to seemingly agree with the ref is baffling. A truly independent regulator in Prem football is sorely needed.

It's not really the point which 1 or 2 were and were not pens. All the same player and all if against us, we'd be screaming out for a rigged against Everton narrative. It's not something we need to risk with Godfrey on the bench. I know he's not been same since his leg bit I thought he was playing ok this season when he's been in team. I wonder what he's done to get benched?

I disagree Gingerdan. I remember klopp came out after the spurs game where VAR made a blunder. Klopp mentioned in his press conference that it was a mistake and perhaps the game should be replayed. It was him playing mind games and for the next month or so, liverpool seemed to get a lot of favourable decisions go their way. It was almost like refs were told not to give anything against then. Maybe Forest coming out with that tweet will have the same affect for them for their remaining fixtures. Just a theory.
