Just shows what can happen when you support and back your manager. Arteta was under fire not too long ago.

{Ed025's Note - but they have finished 8th in the last 2 seasons STB, they have never been fighting relegation..

& also what you get when you give some of the homegrown youngsters a chance with some excellent signings.

Winning FA Cup 1st season always helped too.

We haven’t backed Frank though have we as a club. It doesn’t matter who picks the team we haven’t invested enough money in the last 2 seasons. If the quality is not there, what do we expect. If he had the funds to keep Richarlison or replace with better than Maupay and Frank had the players then I would agree. The best we can do is replace yet another manager rather than demand are owner sells and continue the unity with our Manager. That is our strength and as much as we have at the moment. All our problems have come before he arrived with poor recruitment and bad decisions from the owner. I would take relegation and keep Frank if we can still move ground and build for the future. If we can clear our debt and have a new owner.

{Ed025's Note - would you be confident that frank could get us back up if we do go down STB?...because im not mate, had the best squad in the championship with derby and still managed to mess it up..

Just seen the match as well. What a great example of how the game should be played.
Everton manager to say to players”that’s what I want from you lads every week. I you don’t want it put in a transfer request and we all know where we stand”.

Stb, you must be joking, the Gunners have only worried about CL football and not qualifying, if you think we are in that bracket mate you are not on the same planet and if that is too strong a statement so be it lad.

Lampard has been well and truly back by the Board he was given money in the summer window and most of all given time to turn it around!, for me he failed last season, it was only the Goodison fans, crowd that kept us from being relegated, not the brilliance of the Managers tactics or system, he should of been replaced at the end of last season, he shouldn’t be given another day in the job managing Everton
We have enough time and games left for a new inspiring Manager.

No, that's what happens when you appoint the right manager.

STB if we go down we are gone for good we will have a firesale of our players being sold for a lot less then they are worth and you do realise the EFL are a lot more strict than the prem when it comes to profit and sustainability rules so we could possibly be screwed by that. It baffles me when fans say going down could be a good thing ?‍♂️.

Arteta is a savagely intelligent human being. It's no coincidence Arsenal are doing well. He took hard decisions there for the better.

Frank Lampard. well my mother always told me if you have nothing good to say about someone say nothing. So I'm saying nothing at all.

Whether he’s been backed or not he’s a dreadful manager. No idea what he works on with the players because they don’t press after the 10th minute, don’t put the ball in the box, have no urgency and I can only assume get paid bonuses for successful passes. We looked really bad under Benitez but Lampard has somehow made us far worse.

We could have tempted Arteta long before Arsenal did. Our board/ owner did not have the foresight.

I couldn't agree more. His tactics are so poor. People saying he's not been backed are delusional. My opinion, and it's only that, is that he is too soft. Tactically inept. I like the guy, but not enough for him to stay.

I know Frank is a poor manager but come on, even if we had landed arteta he would have done nothing with this bunch. The sad reality is that its all come to a head now. Its a vicious circle (I'm not saying don't sack frank) however nobody on the planet will keep this bunch of miss fits in the league. I would probably go for dyche as he might get us back up once the inevitable happens.
Look at all the previous managers and types we have had since moyes (non of them have got a tune out of these wasters)
On a positive note, I hear Keane maybe off to italy.

Well the saying is nice guys finish last, and Frank is a nice guy. But he is out of his depth. To take off the attacking full backs and replace them with 2 out of form players, who aren't 1st team standard, shows how inept at tactics he is. Chasing the game, we should of had simms, maupay and even Gordon on. Long balls up to attack to try get goals. But no he put davies and McNeill on.
