Reading these pages you would think we were bottom of the table.
If we beat Norwich which I think we will it will be played 6: won 4 and drew 1

We are 3 points off the top - we have DCL, Gray, and Townsend already on x3 goals

We are out the cup but with our squad I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing this year - priority has to be doing well in the league (especially as Spurs and Leicester haven't got off to the best start)

We hopefully will have DCL, Richarlison back for the bigger games

We've got Kean and James off the books and sigs likely to follow

I'd have taken this start.

We all knew the squad was thin.
Our injury list is unfortunate to say the list.
Whilst some players have been disappointing up to now, we should be celebrating the form of Dacoure, Townsend and Gray. Let’s get behind the boys tomorrow. COYB.

Great post. Always disappointing to go out of a cup but unless you win it does it really matter when you go out?! It just means less games for a paper thin squad to cope with.

I think the recent posts regarding us have been fair.

I know we’re not bottom of the league.

We started really well but have now but in 2 abject performances.

Against villa we were atrocious

Against QPR poor and went out of the cup - out only realistic chance of European football.

I know not all doom and gloom as currently 6th in league with 10pts from a possible 15.

However if we continue to play like the last 2 games and he persevered with a clearly unfit Rondon we really will be in trouble.

Fingers crossed back to winning ways tomorrow.

Bob we should have gone all out to win that cup game.

Our most realistic chance of getting European football would be winning a cup. By getting into Europe would help with our ffp situation also.

I’m more disappointed with the QPR result than the villa one.

Some decent points, sobs. I don't think anyone is all doom and gloom and thankfully, no one has started a rafa put campaign.

The main moaning points over the last few is more to do with the lack of chances the young kids get. Dcl is out and rondon not fit so surely simms should have been given a chance against qpr. Could he have done any worse than rondon.

Digne for me has been poor for a fair while, yet we let nkounkou go out on loan rather than giving him a try.

Same with virginia in goal. He would have been a better back up than begovic.

We keep going out and buying kids for the reserves but never give them a go. Brought another young kid in this week. from Sunderland I think.

We need to mix the better players we have with some talented kids to develop a team for the long term.

The sooner players like iwobi, Davies, Holgate and others are moved on the better.

We need a squad with 2 players for each position who will give their all and a have a bit about them. Not necessarily superstars.

Look at townsend and gray. We were all moaning and laughing and saying why did we bring these 2 lovers in. but they have proved me wrong.

Anyway, roll on tomorrow and 3 points to get us back on track would be lovely .
