Would love a player of Zaha's quality at Everton but at the same time fairly bored of the constant links! Could the Eds shed any light whether or not it could happen. Many thanks in advance.

{Ed025's Note - i would think not duaney, not only would he cost too much but where would he play?, richie plays on the left with james on the right who for my money are better than him, i think hes a good player dont get me wrong but i think other positions will be our priority mate..

Totally agree Ed, can’t see where he would currently fit in and never thought as an Everton fan we’d be in the position of being able to say something like that when a decent player became available.

Currently I’d say a right back should be our priority, with maybe a centre back as cover for Holgate after rightback sorted.

However if we don’t have any more incomings I’m more than happy with the business we’ve done.

Think we need a striker, although we started brilliantly on the I wd worry if u have 1 or 2 injuries in key positions! Wonder if the Bailey link is genuine!

If DLC gets injured then we are extremely short up front. I’d say striker and CB are crucial and need bolstering. If a Liam can be done for the Chelsea lad and we unearth a quality backup to DCL (oh for another Naismith type backup) then we’ve a good chance of challenging for the top six.

Plus, we still need to get some high rollers off the wages.

I agree we need another striker. i'd love to try and get Luka jovic from Real Madrid on a season loan. But i'd say there's 2 hopes of that. Bob Hope and no hope and Bobs no longer with us. Aww well, good to be able to dream and look forward to watching the team again.

Yeah I agree with ed25. Far too expensive and not better now than what we have. He wouldn't get in the 1st 11.
I can't see anyone in the Premier league at a bigger club than Palace wanting him and he will either do a Grealish and stay with a nice fat bumper contract or he will disappear to a bench somewhere in Europe.
He's done a Gerrard and missed his moment. He's best off staying at Palace and having a strong season to put himself back in the window for next summer.
