He was a good player, really good signing, but injuries and lack of pace and energy mean he won’t be missed.

I’ve read that it’s far from done as at the moment his wage demands are way to high.

He needs to be in a team that can carry a player like that and we are not at that level so it's best he moves on.

Is he so good that we pay roughly 250k per game? No way Rafa!

If he leaves, and we also get a buyer for Bernard, I would happily swap places for an incoming Coutinho.

{Ed025's Note - i dont bignev, the last thing we need right now is another show pony mate..

So swap out James for Coutinho. Who is just as injury prone but not as good, but will be on much higher wages.

{Ed0666's Note - James better than Couts. ‘The drugs don’t work they just make it worse’

I get he played for Liverpool the reds have a love in with every ex player (rather like us) like Coady better than Mina, Kent better than Richarlison, Solanke better than DCL etc

But yeah, James is better than Coutinho, he manages to run games by himself in a crap team, Coutinho has yet to do that.

{Ed0666's Note - run a game maybe. Coutinho is a stud when he turns it on. You’ll be blessed to have him mate.

Just read James is going to quit with Rafa in place. What does that mean? How can he quit again after he already quit in the spring?

{Ed0666's Note - maybe he has Ancelotti-itis?

A paper in Columbia ran a story basically telling James now is the time to stay at Everton and not run because he doesn't get the kiddy glove treatment from a manager.
