Dele Alli done deal! . Happy with that personally. If any 1 can sort him out it's Lampard.

1.) 31 Jan 2022 15:47:41
Agree to an extent. But unsure how VDB and Deli fit in the same team and don't know that we can afford luxury substitutes right now.

Time will tell, at least we are making moves for attacking players. Sometimes I think out defense suffer most because they get a lot of pressure out on them from a lack of creativity in the middle.

2.) 31 Jan 2022 15:57:08
Is this actually done for Dele?
I have seen varying reports and one guy tweeting that it’s a free transfer with a £10m fee after 20 games
Just can’t see Levy agreeing to such a deal.

3.) 31 Jan 2022 15:59:40
VDB to replace gomes/ Davies. Alli to replace siggurdson/ James. At least that’s how I see it. VDB is only here untill the end of the season as well. Also Delph and possibly Gbamin leaving in the summer.

4.) 31 Jan 2022 16:03:33
Dele can only play the 10 role he is not a grafting midfield player. If Dele drops the attitude, silly haircuts and made to measure baggy shorts maybe just maybe….

5.) 31 Jan 2022 16:04:27
Sky calling it a "creatively structured deal". I think he's still got a lot to offer.

6.) 31 Jan 2022 16:11:27
Yep Ali a 10 and Beek with Decoure Alan. Big choices up front, Gordon, Gray, DCL, Richarlison.

7.) 31 Jan 2022 16:26:15
Deli is a 10 and we are desperate for that. I think he will do fine for us. All of a sudden today feels pretty good. 1 more would be fantastic.

8.) 31 Jan 2022 16:40:31
The lad plays of knock ons and flicks from the cf. dcl would be suited to that he tries but no one is there. Now potentially someone will be there to get the second ball and take those chances.

9.) 31 Jan 2022 16:42:34
Agree Brownshoes, we have been desperate for a good number 10 and if this lad does find his form he scores goals as well. Still only 25 so no brainer.

10.) 31 Jan 2022 16:43:14
Fabrizio saying it’s a done deal.

11.) 31 Jan 2022 16:45:24
Dele Alli creative deal worth up to £40m
Structure is based on performances and achievements.

12.) 31 Jan 2022 17:06:28
He is looking for goals from midfield I guess which have been missing.

13.) 31 Jan 2022 17:20:20
Reckon it could be signing of the window if comes off and is the creative deal that's being reported.

On his day he is unplayable, admittedly not had his day for a while but if frank can get him playing to the level he is capable of we've done really well.

Also it's actually a position we need which is refreshing.

This could be turning into a positive day for us evertonians.

{Ed0666's Note - Signing of the window? Unplayable? Have you signed Salah or Haaland? No you’ve signed Deli Ali. I know you have to spin some positivity on purchases but let’s not get bogged down in hyperbole mate.

14.) 31 Jan 2022 17:32:53
May have got a little carried away, but when we've had agent Rafa trying to take us down got to look at positives.

So ed066 who do you reckon is signing of the window?

Bearing in mind that haaland or salah haven't actually gone anywhere this window.

If we can get alli back to his best then it's definitely a really good signing. Big if I know as not been great recently, however if we can get him back to his best then a free transfer with fee depending on performances is probably one of the better signings of this window.

{Ed0666's Note - I think the Brazilian midfielder that Newcastle have signed and the guy City have picked up from River Plate will be resounding successes. Oh and I predict Philips will be a revelation at Bournemouth.

15.) 31 Jan 2022 17:33:18
Hahaha I’m creased reading this.

16.) 31 Jan 2022 17:33:33
Breath in deeply Ed0666, you can try and suck a bit more of our positivity out of us ???.

{Ed0666's Note - I’m glad you crazy kids have something to be happy about good for you. Lampard, Donny & Deli. They say all good things come in 3’s…I suppose your still waiting for yours ?

17.) 31 Jan 2022 17:44:30
Haha yea easy to get carried away on deadline day isn't it Ed! Won't be that long before Salah is signing of the window for someone though given that he keeps jibbing off signing a new contract with Liverpool will it!

{Ed0666's Note - and if he does sign for a new club good luck to them mate they’ll definitely be getting the signing of the window.

18.) 31 Jan 2022 17:46:20
Chance of Jovic onloan yet, overseas loans permitted alongside 2 domestic loans.

19.) 31 Jan 2022 18:37:46
Iwobi 2.0? Hope not!

20.) 31 Jan 2022 19:06:09
ed666 if you dislike everton so much why do you commnt on our posts on our site, all i see from you is negativity, this is a EVERTON fan page.

{Ed0666's Note - it’s an Everton Banter page and I’m having a laugh at your expense it’s certainly not hate. Do you not take the piss out of other teams fans? Why so sensitive? You need to relax and appreciate that football is cycle based and you will have peaks and troughs. Admittedly your troughs last longer than most but you see where I’m going.

21.) 31 Jan 2022 19:58:26
Actually ED0666, I don't extract from other teams fans in fact I don't give a monkeys about other Teams, except one's I support of course. Meadowbank Thistle (Livingston) , Standard Liege and Everton.

{Ed0666's Note - I’m truly shocked!

22.) 31 Jan 2022 21:08:06
F#$% Meadowbank thistle ?? relax I'm joking ?.

23.) 31 Jan 2022 23:55:44
Don't know why, took a liking as a kid (Meadowbank) and Liege was my home for a while.

31 Jan 2022 14:16:44
Luka Jovic on loan. Would bloody love that. Carlo does owe us a favour as well haha.

{Ed025's Note - now that would be a signing sir loin..

1.) 31 Jan 2022 17:47:13
Could send Dunc over as coach, to sweeten the deal.

27 Jan 2022 18:57:51
Ruben Loftus cheek or dele Alli on loan? . Honestly not sure who I'd go with tbh. Probably Alli as if we could get any sorta form outta him his goals would definitely come in handy.

1.) 27 Jan 2022 20:26:57
RLC all day long.

2.) 27 Jan 2022 21:24:24
Shame we used up a loan on El Ghazi or we could have tried for both.

3.) 28 Jan 2022 10:09:43
Another great bit of business by the Everton management getting a player on loan in a position we don't really need cover for.

26 Jan 2022 14:51:41
Linked with Kulusevski from Juve. I wonder if we could take him as payment for Kean?

{Ed002's Note - Someone is teasing you.}

1.) 26 Jan 2022 15:27:57
I’m an Everton Fan Ed. We live in a perpetual state of being teased.

26 Jan 2022 04:09:44
Read that we're after Kim Min Jae from Fenerbahce. Apparently it's not dependent on Pereira coming as brands scouted him for years.

Any of the Ed's heard anything?

{Ed002's Note - Min Jae Kim (CB) lost out on a transfer to Spurs due to Work Permit issues and an approach from Napoli was rejected. I am not aware of Brands scouting him for "years" but Porto and Napoli do both have a declared interest. May suit Everton if they can get a Work Permit.}

1.) 26 Jan 2022 12:07:52
We were looking at him when he played in China. Looks a decent centre half.

2.) 26 Jan 2022 13:01:31
Cheers for the info.

Who was responsible for the El Ghazi loan? Was it Moshiri? . If so the guy is a bloody clown. Seriously what was the point! Wasted a valuable loan slot that could've gave us a huge boost.

1.) 16 May 2022 06:42:13
Agree Sir Loin. We needed a CB in Jan and we got a winger who hasn’t played, a midfielder who hasn’t really featured and a midfielder who played a bit, got injured and hasn’t featured much. It’s crazy given our position in the league at the time and how dodgy our defence has been.

02 May 2022 20:08:01
Watching abit of German footy and I'll tell you what. Kouadio Kone for Monchengladbach looks a super player. If we stay up I'd be all over him. Only 20 as well.

1.) 02 May 2022 20:19:28
Good player mate.

2.) 03 May 2022 00:00:57
Very much in the mould of Gana isn’t he mate. Absolutely covered every blade of grass.

26 Apr 2022 14:13:44
Sorry but how can Lampard be fined? . What he said was simply his opinion so to fine him is ridiculous imo.

1.) 26 Apr 2022 17:29:15
I was thinking the same, obviously the FA don’t believe in freedom of speech.

{Ed0666's Note - Its beyond ridiculous Lampard gets fined for speaking his mind what he should be getting fined for is impersonating a Premiership Manager!

2.) 26 Apr 2022 17:42:37
Rafa must be skint.

3.) 26 Apr 2022 19:38:56
JB ?????.

4.) 27 Apr 2022 02:39:44
Classic ed ???.

19 Apr 2022 15:09:55
I wonder if we will see all the " ruined the transfer window" shouts that we got when we signed richy and Sigurdsson with city signing Haaland? . 500k a week is genuinely unfathomable!

1.) 19 Apr 2022 16:45:04
Is it any different than other top sports stars in F1, NFL, NBA etc? In any walk of life, your services are worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for them.
Is it obscene? Yes, of course, he’s kicking a ball about, but it’s his value in revenue to City that dictates his wage.

2.) 19 Apr 2022 17:18:27
Isn’t Ronaldo already on £500k per week?
Not sure haaland earning that much ruins the window.

It’s an obscene amount admittedly and when majority of families feeling the pinch seems a ridiculous fee to pay.

However if city want to pay that it’s up to them - if he wins then the league etc and sells oodles of shirts etc then they will be able to justify it.

{Ed0666's Note - they’ll be able to justify it even if they don’t win the league or sell a single shirt

3.) 19 Apr 2022 18:08:42
Fair enough Ed you’re probably right there.

Just think it’s completely out of touch with the pinch that probably majority of fans are feeling at mo.

{Ed0666's Note - mate proffesional athletes aren’t in the same financial sphere as most of us. They are in the top 1% and their life is just different. We have to appreciate this. While other people struggle to pay rent/bills etc they can spend thousands on a single meal/table at a nightclub etc. As long as they pay it forward donate to the less fortunate I don’t care if they spend £250k on a watch or mill on a car. Good luck to them because I don’t begrudge them their good fortune in life.

4.) 19 Apr 2022 20:53:13
But there are plenty of them that don't deserve it, and I for one do begrudge them.

{Ed0666's Note - why would you begrudge someone because they earn lots of money? Good luck to them I say. Someone’s got to earn it. If their idiots and horrible human beings than that’s when I want them to lose it all.

5.) 20 Apr 2022 01:58:18
Again, any different from an elite banker or lawyer taking 10 mill+ home at the end of the year. If it was you, me or the window cleaner, I’d be saying fair play. If someone could earn that. City are an elite sporting club, and a brand, that can afford his wages. I for one, look forward to seeing him in the Prem.

6.) 20 Apr 2022 02:23:35
I would not want £500K a week. I struggled on it last time I got paid that. No I could not drop to that again ?. Seriously it has taken me over 10 years to earn that. Next June I retire after 51 years working and Ronaldo in 1 year will have earned more than I did in 51 years. Sport is a short life for many but I am not sure today's earnings warrant what they do, but we are the fools who pay them.

7.) 20 Apr 2022 09:21:50
The transfer window as we once knew it has been replaced. Player's agents are either getting release clauses put into contracts or advising their clients to see out their contracts and leave on a free. The difference between the fee in the release clause or the free transfer, and the actual transfer value of the player in the market is added to the players contracts resulting in wages such as Haalands.

Other players see it and start doing the same or complaining they want the same wages as others in the squad. The power is moving into the players, not the clubs hands.

We're moving into dangerous territory.

20 Mar 2022 13:12:36
Sprinting around like headless chickens with zero composure in are attacking play. Quality tactics.

Tbf Mate I don’t think many fans would pick Barkley over Gueye. Gueye strikes me as one of those players who won’t start declining until 35+. Get it done Everton!

Personally think Arsenal would be silly not to go for Ivan Toney anyways. If we do sell DCL in the summer he would be my no1 replacement.

But I am purely talking about football mate not current world affairs. Of course it’s insignificant in comparison but there are horrific things happening around the world everyday. Fortunately we here in the U. K. rarely see them.
