If Giroud is available I'd definitely be looking to sign him for the short term. 18 league games 8 goals last season is not to be sniffed at even if he is getting on imo.

{Ed0666's Note - surely you don’t want a 32 year old on Big wages on a longish contract Loin?

1.) 12 Sep 2020 07:13:47
His missus said he wasn't allowed to join couple of year back, so unless he's got a new peg then that wouldn't be happening.

{Ed025's Note - he needs to grow a set bjark...the big pussy..

2.) 12 Sep 2020 07:58:20
Question marks would be over Giroud as he (his wife) was not up for the challenge in the past, and if you listen to Ancelotti, part of his decision process on who to sign has been their desire to come play for us, them wanting to come and play for him and the club! 💙.

3.) 12 Sep 2020 19:44:26
Yeah I get what you are all saying but tbh if he wanted to come now and was available. I feel on a 2yr contract he would be a cheap option.

4.) 14 Sep 2020 18:34:44
Careful Ed Mrs is sitting next to me.

{Ed025's Note - big girls blouse then.. :)

5.) 16 Sep 2020 00:02:16
I'd rather give Tosun and Simms a chance ahead of getting another high earner in. I like Giroud but we're already overloaded and overpaying. Give what we've got a chance first. Tosun isn't bad and suffered along with everyone with our lack of control and fight in the centre of the park.

Any idea on who Is interested in signing Cantwell this summer Ed? .

Would love him at the blues. Imo he's everything that we hoped Davies would be.

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool had interest but it has gone, Spurs but money is limited, Leicester.}

1.) 24 Jul 2020 18:46:34
Cheers. Tbh I don’t see where he would get in at either Lpool or Spurs. Not regularly anyways. I’d fancy are chances if we can afford/ want him.

18 Jul 2020 10:54:57
Don't even know if we are still in the running to sign Gelhardt from Wigan but a deal involving Dowell would be a good one imo.

{Ed002's Note - Joe Gelhardt (F) Wigan kiddie who has attracted a lot of attention from Premier League sides who had trials with Liverpool and Everton when very young. Spurs and Chelsea have both spoken with Wigan about the player, but both came away thinking he should stay where he is for a year or two to develop - and Chelsea have a much preferred option. However, with the crisis at Wigan Spurs have returned to negotiate for Gelhardt and Jensen Weir (although Weir has opeted for Brighton). Manchester United had sent an ex-player to look at him but opted for another and I understand Liverpool, Leeds, West Brom and Everton have also been scouting him. One to perhaps keen an eye on.}

1.) 18 Jul 2020 13:51:58
Would keep Dowell. He is better than others at the moment and at least will get games as Squad player. Still young enough, remember Osman had loads of loans before establishing himself.

2.) 18 Jul 2020 17:03:16
Keep Dowell sell Sigurdsson, loan Davies to develop, possible solution there.

{Ed025's Note - that works for me ST..

3.) 18 Jul 2020 23:28:41
Suppose with Dowells for picking up again he may be worth a look at in the summer. I just personally feel at 22 he’s had ample opportunities to prove himself and tbh like Sigurdsson he doesn’t fit into are current formation.

Gelhardt on the other hand would be perfect for us on the right imo.

{Ed0666's Note - That Gelhardt is mean to be special no?

17 Jul 2020 01:02:57
Do you know if we still hold any interest in Doucoure Ed? . I would certainly take him should Watford go down and be open to offers.

{Ed002's Note - I would not hold your breath.}

1.) 17 Jul 2020 17:30:04
So that's a no then ED as he didn't say ED are we buying him he asked if we are still interested the reply maybe should of been either your not interested or or there is still interest but he is aiming at a higher level than you can offer.

16 Jul 2020 08:18:21
I wonder if Chelsea are looking to loan out Jorginho next season. Would be worth a look at imo. He was class last season.

Or even RLC I'd take him any day.

{Ed002's Note - Neither will be joining Everton.}

1.) 16 Jul 2020 13:25:48
I'm not a fan of RLC so I'm glad ED02 has said he's not joining.

2.) 16 Jul 2020 20:13:42
Both too similar to what we have in my. Need power athleticism and energy.

{Ed025's Note - gbamin was supposed to be that but unfortunately injuries have put paid to that cookie..

You've got to take into account Olsen played half the amount of games last season but here's a couple of stats.

Pickford/ Olson

Clean sheet % 24/ . 25

Save % JP 62.7 / RO 74%

Here's hoping he can at the very least force Pickford to up his game and return to his form he had a couple of years ago.

1.) 06 Oct 2020 00:24:41
But. can he catch?

2.) 06 Oct 2020 07:13:25
And does he flap around like an injured pigeon? .

03 Oct 2020 08:47:27
Find it strange that we didn't push for Dalot on loan. Now he's off to AC Milan on a loan without an option to buy. Would've been ideal imo.

26 Sep 2020 14:01:37
Gordon missing again. Maybe he's going out on loan? . Wouldn't be a bad thing tbh as he needs regular game time to progress.

1.) 26 Sep 2020 14:55:45
Probably giving some of the players we may actually be able to move on a chance to be seen.
Sigurdsson, Bernard, Iwobi, Davies
Think when the transfer window is shut we’ll see Nkounkou and Gordon featuring on the bench.

2.) 26 Sep 2020 17:32:52
Sig has looked reborn this season so far and I wouldn't be moving him on plus Bernard has been playing much better in his new role. I think what we are seeing are these players under a great manager are good enough. You will also see players who genuinely aren't at the same level and can't make that step up.

One of those was Tom Davies. When he came on he gave the ball away in an area that was dangerous. He is still very young and won't peak for a number of years but maybe he needs a good loan move for him to get out of his comfort zone. Kenny was one who went out on loan last season and for me has clearly shown he isn't good enough. We'll get the same indication with Tom.

On the other hand Nkounkou and Gordon are flourishing and are showing they are good enough. Our left side now looks phenomenal. Gordon, Richardson, Digne Knounkou. Yet our right doesnt, Coleman and James are fine but Iwobi, Walcott and Kenny are ones I would prefer gone, although if Iwobi can produce his midweek performance regularly then I would probably keep him.

3.) 26 Sep 2020 21:47:57
Totally agree with this. The right side of the pitch concerns me. Coleman. is having a renaissance but can he do it for a whole season. chuck in the GK as well. To me that is the biggest single issue. a lot of people flagged off moise I see a top player in him just hope he's got the right attitude as we are very short if Calvert lewin or richarlison get injured, afterall we are only 3 games into a very challenging season.

23 Sep 2020 21:51:46
Pickford is F*****g diabolical! . Jesus Christ we've got to get a replacement for him ASAP.

1.) 23 Sep 2020 23:26:51
Totally agree sir loin. My priority is pickford sigurdsson iwobi and Walcott.

Would be criminal if we didn’t go for King for the reported 10mill. Averaging a goal every 3.5 games playing mainly out wide.

On first glance he looks like a slightly quicker/ stronger version of Holgate. Excellent passing range as well but time will tell I suppose.

Decent signing imo.

JP Gbamin is back late October/ November as well and he is seen as more of a CB by a lot of “experts”.

That could possible be in Ancelotti/ Brands thinking.

{Ed025's Note - i forgot about him sir loin..

Yeah. I was there at Barnsley when he made his debut and he showed some really nice touches and lovely low centre of gravity. Shame.

I get what you’re saying Ed but it was a clear indication of the general consensus of a large portion of its customer base. Surely they won’t ignore it when the majority of people end up watching the games elsewhere.

{Ed002's Note - That would impact Sky and the other broadcasters rather than the Premier League clubs. As I have said, one club has raised the issue for further discussion this week.}

Whilst the fact the money goes to the clubs and not sky softens the blow. £15 is insane though and a club specific season pass would be better. How long until the early game on sky is Villa vs Fulham ( scintillating) and the later ppv game is Man U vs Liverpool ect.

The fact that IPTV was trending on Twitter after the announcement should make them rethink.

{Ed002's Note - The Premier League clubs are not going to care what is "trending on Twitter". They may listen to a plea from the club raising the issue of price and then tralk again with the broadcasters.}

If he keeps this up Southgate may be forced to play 2 up top with him and Kane. Or even drop Kane back into a 10.

{Ed025's Note - i say drop him, i dont want him getting injured sir loin and dont give a toss about the england team mate..

I would imagine/ hope it’s because in his mind. He’s capable of doing so much more than he’s done in his short Everton career.

To celebrate like a mad man scoring against Fleetwood/ Salford would be accepting a degree of mediocrity.
