Apparently we're " favourites " to sign Tammy Abraham if he is to leave Chelsea in the summer

Can't see I myself like but he would be an amazing signing if we can sell Kean.

{Ed077's Note - He seems to want to be first choice so I dont think he would be happy to be back up to DCL(i.e. Kean replacement). But he might be a good option if DCL left. And I'm not ITK:)}

1.) 03 Mar 2021 16:34:20
Yeah that was my main issue with the rumour Ed. In fact he’s pretty like for like with DCL imo.

Would be insane for Chelsea to let him leave anyways Lukaku mk2 springs to mind.

2.) 03 Mar 2021 23:19:01
There are rumours of Silas Wamangituka, and also this Abdallah Sima, both young talents.

3.) 05 Mar 2021 13:38:00
Bookies trying to generate money, nothing else.

4.) 05 Mar 2021 20:51:46
He’s no Lukaku! DCL is better IMO.

5.) 06 Mar 2021 14:51:55
Yeah more than likely Brassington. And Pighead I didn’t mean Tammy is exactly like Rom but more that if they sold him he would be as effective and they would regret it.

07 Jan 2021 09:25:38
Any info on Moisés Caicedo Ed? Or is it just speculation.

{Ed002's Note - My understanding is that Moises Caicedo impressed when Manchester United were following up on looking at another player who they had first seen in the Real Sociedad reserves. There has been interest in Caicedo from other sides including Ajax, Atlanta, Inter Miami, PSV and Chelsea. Someone senior at Chelsea is very keen. I am not aware of any approach by Everton but an independent scout who has worked for Everton in South America attended games to watch him in September and October.}

1.) 07 Jan 2021 14:23:42
Cheers for the info!

2.) 08 Jan 2021 20:14:27
Looks like he’s going to Brighton. Good deal for them.

04 Jan 2021 13:58:18
Branthwaite to Blackburn on loan. Great move for the Lad imo. Looks a rip talent for the future. Tall fast strong and two footed and for me will be a big player for us in a year or two.

1.) 04 Jan 2021 15:22:28
Is this a fact or a rumour.

2.) 04 Jan 2021 19:27:43
Strong rumours at present not finalised yet.

3.) 04 Jan 2021 22:14:45
Yeah it's great move for him. Does it say how long he will be on loan for?

With our current injuries he's unlucky not to have played more of a part. I was hoping he'd get a game against rotherham on Saturday.

4.) 05 Jan 2021 17:09:40
Would’ve been a great game for him FatChris
From what I have seen it’s just until the end of the season, they are trying to move a few under 23’s out for experience and game time.

12 Sep 2020 01:00:12
If Giroud is available I'd definitely be looking to sign him for the short term. 18 league games 8 goals last season is not to be sniffed at even if he is getting on imo.

{Ed0666's Note - surely you don’t want a 32 year old on Big wages on a longish contract Loin?

1.) 12 Sep 2020 07:13:47
His missus said he wasn't allowed to join couple of year back, so unless he's got a new peg then that wouldn't be happening.

{Ed025's Note - he needs to grow a set bjark...the big pussy..

2.) 12 Sep 2020 07:58:20
Question marks would be over Giroud as he (his wife) was not up for the challenge in the past, and if you listen to Ancelotti, part of his decision process on who to sign has been their desire to come play for us, them wanting to come and play for him and the club! 💙.

3.) 12 Sep 2020 19:44:26
Yeah I get what you are all saying but tbh if he wanted to come now and was available. I feel on a 2yr contract he would be a cheap option.

4.) 14 Sep 2020 18:34:44
Careful Ed Mrs is sitting next to me.

{Ed025's Note - big girls blouse then.. :)

5.) 16 Sep 2020 00:02:16
I'd rather give Tosun and Simms a chance ahead of getting another high earner in. I like Giroud but we're already overloaded and overpaying. Give what we've got a chance first. Tosun isn't bad and suffered along with everyone with our lack of control and fight in the centre of the park.

24 Jul 2020 17:26:51
Any idea on who Is interested in signing Cantwell this summer Ed? .

Would love him at the blues. Imo he's everything that we hoped Davies would be.

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool had interest but it has gone, Spurs but money is limited, Leicester.}

1.) 24 Jul 2020 18:46:34
Cheers. Tbh I don’t see where he would get in at either Lpool or Spurs. Not regularly anyways. I’d fancy are chances if we can afford/ want him.

Onyango has broke/ fractured his leg in the game tonight. Gutted for the lad. Speedy recovery 🤞.

02 Apr 2021 17:26:48
Gbamin! What a man he is. The shi* time he's found himself in would test anyone's mental health.

We've got to give him time though. It will be 12 months until I'll pass judgment on his performances.

All the best to the lad. What a warrior!

1.) 02 Apr 2021 20:30:54
Whilst it’s been frustrating for both him and us that he’s not played, he’s not had it too bad relatively speaking when you see what the average person has had to go through with the C.V. mental health wise and if an average person couldn’t have worked for that period they’d have been laid off.

Not sure he’s a warrior though, appears to be made of glass!

He’s also extremely fortunate he’s on a very decent wage, has access to the best medical care, best facilities to get rehab and probably hasn’t had to worry that he could be laid off or has to get ssp.

That said, still looking forward to seeing him play and hope he’s over his injuries.

2.) 02 Apr 2021 23:20:13
Hillarious to explain a man's mental health situation when he's sat on his arse and getting paid more than we earn in a year per week/ month. I get the sentiment but, mate, get real here. Warrior? 🤣. I think we've all gone a bit mad through this enforced house arrest.

{Ed077's Note - you don't really understand how mental health works if you think getting paid hundreds of thousands can solve it.

3.) 03 Apr 2021 09:48:02
Absolutely spot on Ed.

01 Apr 2021 18:30:42
Like the look of that Doku for Belgium. Only 18 and would definitely sort are right wing out.

1.) 01 Apr 2021 19:59:16
Handy in a lightsaber duel as well.

{Ed001's Note - good one Swinners, gave me a giggle that one.}

06 Mar 2021 14:54:57
Purely hypothetical as the people in charge will do what they like at the the end of the day but.

What's everyone's opinion on all games being broadcast when fans are allowed back in.

Me personally I think the 3pm rule is outdated. For teams like ares they will sell out regardless (15,000) on the waiting list.

Makes sense to keep the current format for me especially with all the different broadcasters.

Although if I was the FA I would develop their own streaming platform for the games that aren't on sky.

1.) 06 Mar 2021 16:30:44
The concern is not necessarily filling premier league stadiums - it’s the lower league teams that will suffer if the average fan can watch a prem game at 3pm.

2.) 06 Mar 2021 17:18:19
Spot on JB. I’m sure that’s exactly why there was a blanket ban on 3pm games being shown.
As soon as fans back in the stadiums, free to air games will stop.

3.) 06 Mar 2021 18:02:56
Seeing kick offs at three is just part of the Saturday experience. Personally I’d never want it to change. I don’t mind change but a bunch of games at 3 for me is far more of a Saturday than just one or two.

4.) 06 Mar 2021 21:15:34
Yeah good point that tbh JB.

5.) 06 Mar 2021 22:38:45
Sky/ BT/ virgin etc just profiteers 😱
U can get all games any division plus world wide any time ko in perfect quality for £60 per year plus a fire stick (£30) plus a vpn if u google how.
Plus u get all films, series etc as soon as they are out at no extra cost plus PPV events such as boxing.

6.) 07 Mar 2021 09:38:30
PigHeadHoncho you shouldn't even need a VPN if you have a decent provider buddy that's why i don't think lower league teams would suffer as much as people think EYE PEE TEE VEE has been around for years.

Might be wrong but it looked like Rodriguez was having a go during the game shouting “ why is it always down to me” “up to me”.

We’re reportedly close to signing young Bayern striker Joshua Zirkzee on loan with a view to a perm. If true it looks like a fantastic deal by Brands.

More chance of me playing for Everton than us signing Alaba lol. He will have probably 10 champions league clubs ahead of us offering just a much money.

Aside from a dodgy fire stick the best bet is to type in Everton vs . stream and you’ll always find a quality link.

Haven’t used them for a while but releasesky.com always used to be reliable as well.

Deffo an exciting end to the season whatever happens. I’m just made up we’re not out of the running for Europe at this stage like we usually are.

For me if we get Europe and tbh even if we don’t I’d give him another 12 month contract. Imo his price tag has always weighed him down in fans expectations.

He’s been as good as any for us in recent months.
