Any news on who bid for Barkley? {Ed025's Note - no one as far as i know avit mate..
1.) I just saw on another site that there was a bid knocked back, but cheers.
2.) I saw on another site saying 2 big unamed clubs asked about barkley but were told to piss off

Ed, rumour on Diogo Viana, never heard of him, any info, also what's going on with Defoe? He's a perfect fit isn't he? {Ed025's Note - viana is 30 mate, cant see that..defoe wont leave london..IMO..

Just wondering if there are any G Barry haters left or have there opinions changed? Class footballer, you don't get 53 England caps otherwise
1.) Wow I'm actually surprised to see aviturs on this page. I was beginning to think he was a secret united fan the amount of time he spends on our page. Just came on to say thanks for taking points of chelsea for us, and for keeping Barkley warm while we put together a bid for him. :-) {Ed025's Note - dont thank us mate...you lot are not in contention for the league!..top 6 if you get lucky, we should be thanking you, for taking dithering dave off us, and as for ross..he may go one day, but it will be to a club who are on the up...which rules your lot out im afraid..
2.) It doesn't take much to play for England, Emile Heskey got 63 caps! Anyway, although he had a fantastic debut I am still undecided on him. Only time will tell if he was a good signing.

3.) I think it's widely acknowledged Ross Barkley despised Mr Moyes, ergo I can't see him following him to Man Utd, myself.
As for taking points of chelski, I can't see Utd finishing within 15 points of them this season, or any other season whilst Mr Moyes is manager.
4.) Dear oh dear ed025, a little bit bitter are we? So are you glad that your new manager is a man who got his team relegated last year, as opposed to a manager who kept you in contention for the top ten whilst hardly spending a penny. Anyway i'd rather be struggling for the top 6 than fighting at the other end of the table, which I'm sure is what will happen once this "unbeaten run" of yours comes to an end. {Ed025's Note - you wish my friend...SAF jumped ship at the right time, the good ship united is sailing through some rough times i fear, and i for 1 cant wait for it to hit the rocks.. :)
5.) To be honest Ed, I really don't think Ross will ever leave Everton. He seems to me to have his head firmly screwed on, and is cut from the same cloth as Le Tissier, Gerrard and Baines. Loyal to their club. Couldn't agree more with you though Ed about United being on the slide, it's going to be fun to watch though. I seriously think they'll finish about 5th this season. Well, I hope they do anyway.

7.) Should have respect for Emile Heskey. Like Barry, had he played for us I'm sure we would have appreciated what he did on a footy pitch. I know Michael Owen certainly did.

Considering you bid 28 for both he and Baines I'd say we stitched you right up. don't worry though, your team which will consist of Moyes type players like Cleverly, Anderson, Wellbeck and Young will no doubt bring you the champions league glory you crave. Forget a useless creative player like Kagawa. It's not like he was instrumental in dortmunds rise or anything. Maybe we will get Hernandez on the cheap in Jan. Moyes doesn't really like poachers who score pretty much every game they play in. He likes his strikers to run tirelessly down touch lines and deliver crosses to no one because his 451 means 10 men are still behind the ball.

I think we all need to be realistic, for Everton there is no such thing as marquee signings, we make signings that improve us, until BK sells us to a Rushian oligarch we have to accept the fact, since the 80's we've been clearly left behind, for Martinez it's all about little acorns, McCarthy will improve us and he will work 10 fold harder than the overpriced hair ever would.

Well billy kenwright listern here, don't even think about cashing in on our two prize assets, three games in and we are nbeaten, all we need is you and your mates to sanction spending some of that sky money you've got on a quality striker who knows how to bloody score. Selling two of our best players is like pulling the carpet out from under our new managers feet, he promises champions league and I am guessing you are just seeing the pound signs! I see your point however our next game is Chelsea, and that could well result in bring 3 points from a possible 12, they have what we don't - strikers that can score.
