Morning all . Well we did our best but sometimes your best is not enough for a very short while we were the unofficial world champions but in the end city were worthy winners . Doesn't change the status quo still need 7 wins as it is at the moment. All to play for at the moment . All the teams in the bottom 3 have had an upturn of fortunes lately . Forest will probably try to draw their way to safety. Palace will likely change managers but to me the most likely dropper is Fulham always one after xmas. Bournemouth will get their 40 points and then drop off . Just my opinion.

On another day it wouldn't have been given TomTom. I'm still flummoxed about the Arsenal one. If VAR is to work there needs to be total clarity on what is handball . What is offside and what constitutes a penalty . When my club used to send people on reffing courses . the guy running them used to say always remember the most important rule USE COMMON SENSE.

Morning all would take a point today . By my estimates that would leave us 7 wins and 2 draws to get in the 2nd half of the season to secure survival any points given back by the EPL would be a bonus
but would rather not rely on that.

Morning all . Here we go 26 cup finals some we will win some we won't. My take on this situation is I was actually expecting 6pts off with 6 suspended which is why we needed to hit 12 points asap . By my calculations we need 11 wins and 3 draws . With regards to other teams sueing us . It would be like being tried twice for the same crime something which used to be called double jeopardy in English law . TBH any team that doesn't accrue 40 points cannot really complain about being relegated ourselves included. Couple of questions do u all think the punishment was deliberately high with the view we would appeal . Secondly are there any other teams sweating on this case not man city or Chelsea that's another story for another day . Thirdly what 3 are going down there are a lot of weak teams in the bottom half and any team from palace down can drop I go Luton. Sheff utd and a dropper like Fulham. Burnley will sack company and survive . Lastly how many points will be the safety mark this year . PS I'm not moaning about the punishment even if it is over the top we fxxked up and have to put our big boy pants on and take the punishment but a line has surely been drawn in the sand now. Hope all going to the game make as much noise as possible even if sky who have a lot of influence on this league are muting the sound . If we score first 3 - 1 to us VAR withstanding . I don’t think we will have the protection of the revised Double Jeopardy law as it’s only used in extreme cases. Our is far from that. Also I’m not sure that suing the club on top of the points deduction would come under the old law either.
I think there’ll be other clubs worried about their situation or at least having their money men pouring their eyes over their accounts to look for any possible breaches to get ahead of the curve. To be expected I suppose.
We can catch Bournemouth and have 4 teams below us without a reduced punishment should our appeal be rejected which I’m personally bracing myself for.

3 pts tonight could change the whole dynamic of this relegation battle. Playing devils advocate here, read here someone said Leicester have done their homework and attack mainly down our right . Why not play pattison in front of seamus if he is fit . Pattison can actually cross a ball too . I would like to play mina as well and push keane up in place of Gana. With regards to our rivals, Leeds are on the ropes at the moment. Forest are having a real go and were unlucky on Saturday how they score so many goals with so little possession is dumbfounding . Leicester are on a par with us but are showing signs of recovery. Well done Bournmouth after i tippped them to go bottom last month. Lastly, listening to a Chelsea fan on talksport and he reckons if the season were any longer, they could be down in the struggle. If only the board had sacked FL earlier we would had more of chance but that's how it is . Fingers crossed for tonight for 3 pts or even 1 . ?.

Ironically that's exactly what Barcelona proposed for ONANA this week . If we stay up and we should if we start scoring, you can put your house on the relegated teams trying to sue us . If we go down, we could be replaced by a team that broke the same rules at the same time as us . This season just gets crazier and crazier. ? looking forward maybe teams should forward their books end of every season or financial year and get a credit rating or limit for the coming season would help stop a lot of this nonsense. The big boys would have more to spend of course but that's the way it is . Poorer clubs would have to be more proactive in buying and developing players eg Tim Cahill . Ps anyone caught cooking the books automatically relegated .
