Villa fan here
Be careful what you wish

Man U financed by debt

Liverpool first owners

Aston villa

All have American owners
I know you have your beef with Liverpool
But the first owners all most ruined them
the yanks have ruined my club
First 3 years spending in the community etc
Now not even a player bought in on the Jan window
Man U massive debt massive loan payments to the glazers
Be careful what you wish
Barkley stones etc will be gone to finance the club
You think I joke
Look at the villa players who were sold
To balance the books
Gareth Barry
Ashley Young
James Milner
Fabian Delphi
Christian beneteke
Stuart downing
Ron valar.

These Americans supported there managers mate with a lot money they bought bad and your clubs suffered well that was the case with Villa anyway.

Actually not heard any such advice from Liverpool or Manchester United fans. Could that be because they aren't about to be relegated.

What a friendly bunch we are, he was offering a bit of advice which is dead true. These guys might be okay but some fans need to realise we don't have it half as bad as some teams but some Everton fans just love to moan. Where's the arteta money who we sold for 10 million. What about Newcastle selling Carroll for 35 million, where did that money go.
As for villa, Lerner hasn't put any money in yet sold Barry, Milner, downing and young for around 70 million. Sold benteke for 35 million and hasn't put a penny of that back in. Imagine if we sold lukaku in August and didn't spend any of that in the January window.

to the villa fan and his take on all the villa players THEY LEFT MATE because VILLA ARE GOD DAM WOEFUL nothing to do with owners they left because villa have no vision END OF.

{Ed025's Note - im with HB here, the guy comes on here with some friendly advice and got nothing but grief...his points were valid for me, we dont know these americans from adam and yet everyone thinks they are the second coming!, when the likes of moyes and pienaar left we were all saying "the grass is not always greener" and yet now it seems it is....come on guys i thought we were better than that..

Hi honest blue
I wish the others could see my point of view
Yes learner did back O'neil
Top 6 3 years running didn't quite get to where Learner wanted to go
Learner then got bored
Never heard off him again
Went to Wembley to see our non final
And face in the paper
He appointed non football men
Not necessarily players reqd on the board but football men
He appointed
Business types "suits"
Look at the list
Paul lambert comes in spends 12 million
He was appointed by suits not football men
Told to cut wages due to O'neils reckless spending and wages ( everybody will sign and hold the club to ransom for wages as a Uncle Sam is footing the bill)
Then houiller (suit signing he had had a massive heart attack wasn't fit for the job but a big name to appease the
Fans)
Mcleash another suit appointment bought in cut wages further (master stroke by learner like Everton signing Roy Evans as manager everybody hated him already so what he done we just hated him more)
Sherwood needed a job no ties cheap appointment
Moyes was offered the job and turned it down

Remi Garde cheap appointment but looks a good bloke
But money was promised and didn't come
I am not bitter about relegation
I am bitter about a faceless chairman hiding behind others
Some investment works
Man city prime example, Leicester another success owner
But look at villa, Cardiff, hull wolves Leeds

I like Everton love the ground wooden seats and all
And I wish you well
Bill kenwright has your best at heart
But
So did Doug Ellis.

Get a grip lads. The Villa poster didn't mean any harm. Who knows what's going to happen in the future.

Have to feel for Villa this season. Good club with a good history. Wouldn't be a team that I'd like to see relegated. Hope they return to premiership the following year if they go down. Which looks inevitable.

Well said ed and NBTB, the guy has come on taunting us. I generally feel for villa, they are similar to ourselves in history and just goes to show that these chairman with no passion towards the club can get bored and stop spending.
Was a good point Bretto, didn't realise those players cost that much but there net spend is still minus for the season despite the sky money.

forgot vertout to they spent around 35 mil on those who are young and not buy enough prem proven players I like villa myself but they have kept there deadwood to long like agbhonlor.

Ed money was spent badly at Villa mate and they never recovered but there was a chance for them I don't think anybody was slating him but the same goes for the yanks that are looking at us they are getting slated left right and centre and they have not even announced there plans yet it's because Villa did not work out with there yank owners we can't tar them all with the same brush FsG are doing a great job with the Reds money seems to be always available new stand getting built Arsenal not doing bad just saying mate.

{Ed025's Note - i have no problem with the yanks taking over stef, we have no right to judge them one way or the other until we have first hand experience, i just thought the responses to charmed was uncalled for and less than friendly mate, he took the time to post and give his views on the takeover whats wrong with that?..i like to think we have a good bunch here who are fair and amicable and as supporters represent the club even on forums like this.......on a side note.. how about george shaw winning the everton goal of the month?...thats why i love this club..

Spot on Ed025. Charmed was only giving the example of Villa and stating his opinion. Ok, he shouldn't of jumped to the conclusion that Stones and Barkley would be sold.

Apart from that I can't argue with anything he said. I trust Bill's judgment and will go with what he thinks is best. But even Bill said he can get it wrong at times as well.

As Ed025 says we will never know until we go through the motions. No one is saying for sure its going to be bad. No one can say for sure its going to go well either.

I think its good to get different opinions. Especially from posters from other clubs. Even if I don't agree with them. Everyone should be free to do so.

I'd like to think any Everton poster would get proper respect in another teams site. Only right imho.

Yes that was a class act by the club ed and if this takeover goes through I don't think we will lose that class a I read Moores likes to put money into charity'sso efcitc should be ok and continued. Also I apologise to the Villa fan if I sounded ungreatfull for his info. Ed we as fans have been through the mill we have been let down so many times takeover here there and everywhere with no truth to it whatsoever, we have a board that won't invest but promised the sun moon and stars yet they want the council to build our new stadium, finally after all these years a takeover looks real and will possibly happen and then negativity comes from fans that have had experience from a takeover that did not go too well come on and give us there thoughts, we don't mean to be rude it's just we have all been longing for this for sometime and maybe we are just afraid deep down that this could be a mistake and just don't want to hear it . It's just down to fear and excitement.

{Ed025's Note - i hear you stef, but being rude is an excuse mate not a reason, dont get me wrong it was not abusive but we are nice guys here lets keep it that way..

Thanks for the post charmed and I totally get what your saying about villas situation I feel for u mate. I don't think the fact that there American is the problem football is a business now mate and new owners that ain't sheiks or Russian gangsters are businessmen and youv got to hope a successful team is high on his agenda. For any negative comments youv received on here I don't think there is any malice In it at all I think I speak for a lot of evertonions when I say I'm sick of being average, sick
Of being the underdog. So I'm willing to take the risk and if it goes tits up so be it. But if it goes well and we get the stadium sorted ect that could be the base to remain a big force in domestic and European football for many years to come.

Wow bit harsh on the kid there he's just giving his own experience with a yank owner can't see what he done there

Make no mistake villa are a big club and it must cripple there fans seeing what's going on there heaven forbid if we are ever in that position would any of us still have the graciousness to warn the next club that's changing ownership got to say bit disappointed reading some of that there think it's been said but we are better than this lads.

Charmed, there are many different circumstances for the clubs you mentioned. Man U and our neighbours have high profiles around the globe so money was there to be made by taking them clubs on. With respect, our two clubs do not have that profile so taking either of us on is a bit different. I do hear what you are saying though but, if these Americans take us over, we will just have to see where it leads us. The very least we will do is support them until they give us an indication that they are here to asset strip. Maybe these will be the ones to buck the trend you speak of, we will have to wait and see mate, we just can't write them off as money grabbers due to other people of the same nationality doing so to other clubs.

{Ed025's Note - thats a fair point spud..
