Hi Ed 002 any truth in the Vardy rumor to Everton.

Stef the blue

{Ed002's Note - As a Cenk Tosun replacement? I wouldn't think so.}

1.) 18 Jan 2018 09:54:23
or how about a partner ED02 even though I highly doubt we are after him after signing tosun and Walcott.

{Ed002's Note - Ok.}

12 Jan 2018 08:24:51
Apparently Walcott deal is very close to been completed London journalist claims he is very interested in signing for Everton 🙏.

If he comes for a reported 20 million, I presume as a wide right attacker, what does that mean for the immediate future of Henry Onyekuru? I would imagine, when fit, he would be the successor to that position, so wouldn't 20 million be a lot for someone who would potentially only hold that position for maybe a year? Maybe I'm thinking too much into it. I'm sorry. I still can't get used to Everton with money.

2.) 12 Jan 2018 09:49:44
not our money to spend kingo so who cares! decent player just adding to our list of options now, also be a player with a point to prove.

3.) 12 Jan 2018 10:39:22
Also chips in with his fair share of goals good player exactly what we need at this moment.

4.) 12 Jan 2018 11:41:43
We also need options and experience. A front 4 of Sigurdsson / Bolasie / Tosun / Walcott looks pretty good to me. And if we have injuries or loss of form then Lookman / DCL / Vlasic and next year Henri can come in. Been too much expected too soon of the kids this year.

5.) 12 Jan 2018 12:40:25
good buy if we get him, hope so.

6.) 12 Jan 2018 13:32:37
Need a strong squad if ever we are going to compete with top four. Quality addition just seems to have lost a little confidence at the arse.

{Ed025's Note - wenger has done him no favours mate..

7.) 13 Jan 2018 10:58:14
Walcott would not come here to be a squad player.

06 Jan 2018 21:24:48
Some punter just put 5.000 grand on Wallcot to join Everton paddy power have slashed the odds from 8.1 to evens hmmm interesting let's see what happens here.

Stef the blue

1.) 06 Jan 2018 22:00:33
Must be mad Stef can't see it myself but you never know, £5000 is a lot of money to lose if he goes to Southampton as the papers are reporting.

2.) 06 Jan 2018 22:10:21
Could be ross he's rolling in it I've heard, drop in the ocean to him.

3.) 06 Jan 2018 22:20:10
£5,000 is a lot of money for ordinary people, but is probably not that much to "high roller" gamblers - especially if they believe that have inside information and they can afford to risk losing. Of course, they might just be another mug punter - the kind the bookmakers love.

4.) 07 Jan 2018 08:23:59
He must know something even people with money are not that quick to trow away 5 grand on something they know nothing about I reckon he has some inside information or is just s headcase either way Southampton confirmed there interest in Walcott so it's going to be interesting were he wants to play his football, hopefully it's Everton.

03 Jan 2018 23:30:06
Alan Myers claims the Tousan deal is complete due to have medical tomorrow some good news then just hope we get him registered in time for the derby COYB.

Good morning ED002 is there real interest in Wallcot from Everton and if so do you think we can get a deal done for him in this window, personally I would love to have him at Everton.

Stef the blue

{Ed002's Note - From Everton and Southampton. This is not new news, I thought I told you some weeks ago.}

1.) 03 Jan 2018 22:10:28
Be a great signing but I can't see it happening unless Lennon goes.
Seems to be a lot about a striker and rightly so, but nothing on a left back, if try a punt at ryan bertrian.

2.) 03 Jan 2018 23:32:33
Tierney from Celtic looks like a good LB.

If we can get a result against Bournemouth won't be easy they are playing well. But if we do I'm confident of a home win against Huddersfield this could be the momentum that really flurishis through a team and it will be a fantastic start to the season, could be top by Christmas blues looking at them fixtures, dare to dream coyb.

Stef the blue

{Ed025's Note - im just happy with the style of football stef, its a million miles from the dross we witnessed last season and we still have some top quality to come in, no doubt there will be some losses and i think our finishing has to improve but the smiles are back on the supporters faces and thats great to see mate..

1.) 19 Aug 2018 08:48:52
Very true Ed25 I’m enjoying what I’m seeing from the lads I have very good feeling about this season.

{Ed025's Note - me too stef, im keeping my expectations in check though as its very early days yet mate..

2.) 19 Aug 2018 09:52:15
I am loving it, but can see we are still really poor at defending set pieces. The standard of football is a million miles better than recent seasons. We have obviously worked at free kicks and corners offensively. But our defending at them is a weakness. I am sure Silva and co will be working on defending them, but BIG improvement is needed. If we can improve in this one area, we have a chance to keep on picking up points and then the test will be if we can perform against the so called top teams.

{Ed025's Note - i think we all know we still have defensive issues degsy especially centrally, these have been addressed hopefully with the inclusion of mina and zouma mate..

3.) 19 Aug 2018 10:15:18
I was thinking; if I'm going to be critical we could have been more clinical. We did have a lapse at the back but Holgate and Keane were solid all game and haven't really played together much. The whole round improvement though in such a short time has been unbelievable and unimaginable. To think that football was in the same year as the dross (insert stronger term 😊) that was played: words can't describe. what's crazy is he has improved overall and not just in particular areas. i'm not counting chickens but the early signs look promising indeed.

{Ed025's Note - very much so tit mate..

4.) 19 Aug 2018 10:21:36
The problem with set pieces is if you are Donald marking like what we do, you have to attack the ball with aggression if it's going into you area. We didn't do that with the goal. We did though do it in the first game very well and for most other times during this.

However, Davies took a step 1 foot to forward and miss judged the header at the front post which cost us. We seem to be getting better with dealing with the ball over the top as well and now force the player out wide.

Overall though our general defensive play is much better than last year as it allows us to be more assertive going forward.

5.) 19 Aug 2018 10:35:47
Erm zonal marking not Donald marking! 😂😂😂.

6.) 19 Aug 2018 11:51:23
I wondered what you were on about BJU! That made me giggle. Cheers mate! Re the comment. now I know you meant zonal. I would guess that is one reason Mina and his 6ft 5inch was bought. Many times last season we lost goals with quite simple balls over the top. Another poster put a post about Keane being slow on the turn and weak defending balls over the top which I agree with. He ball watches. However, Holgate seems to get better and better and at the tender age of 22 and looking so good would be a perfect partner for Mina. Or maybe Zouma? Either way, I am one for the modern type of footballing center half and have had many debates about playing the ball across the back line as England did with Stones this recent world cup. It is the continental way and Man City do it as do our rivals. The old Jags style of center half is a thing of the past now. It can be scary for fans to watch but is the way forwards in my view. I do think the positive view you point out is a big part of things but I would also add that the one player (being Richarlison) has made the biggest impact these 2 games and Allardyce was here when we signed Tosun and Walcott so I give him a tiny bit of credit for that. The rest of your post I agree with 100% COYB.

7.) 19 Aug 2018 12:52:04
Donald marking is the future. If the ball comes into the box, DUCK.

{Ed025's Note - or even trump!..

8.) 19 Aug 2018 13:28:38
That's it explained. The ball comes over and Keane ducks! Now we know why. Silva told him he had to Donald mark!

9.) 19 Aug 2018 20:59:53
With Mina and Zouma there (both aggressive CB's and Zouma in particular quite quick) It really should be a wake up call for Keane, still young and learning his trade but there again so is Holgate and at times the lad looked like he had been playing there for years.

18 Aug 2018 12:42:10
Wallcot to bag a couple today I have gut feeling he is going to score coyb.

Stef the blue

{Ed025's Note - im going for richie 1st goal and the blues to win 2-0..

1.) 18 Aug 2018 12:50:52
Oooo nice shout ed. I reckon richarlison first 3-1 to us.

{Ed025's Note - they have danny ings leading their attack tit, and he could not hit a bulls arse with a banjo mate.. :)

2.) 18 Aug 2018 14:17:13
Im going for 1-1 nice set up again 😭😭😭.

1.) 14 Aug 2018 12:31:49

2.) 14 Aug 2018 16:48:27

Also ours will be more complexed because of foundations is water at moment so it’s going to cost lots just to prepare the site, anyone know of someone in the metal/ steel industry, oh wait Moshri friend USMANOV.

13 Aug 2018 09:26:38
Good morning blues, my prediction for Saturday is a 3.0 win for the blues really impressive football we played against wolves and even when we went down to ten ten men. I'm really looking forward to the game against Southampton also the players movement has improved dramatically I like the way we are switching the play aswell Silva is going to bring a lot of joy to our faces this season coyb.

Baines has been a great servant for the club and he worked his socks off against Wolves if he does move on in January I wish the lad nothing but the best great ambassador for Everton. I have the utmost respect for him.

We need a striker one has been identified we have a derby Friday night against a team who just don't want to beat us but humiliate us and you think the club are doing right over 2 million yis need to give your head a wobble. If we don't sign a striker in this window and the team suffers to get wins you will all be on here whinging this lad is needed and needed big time if it was 10 or 15 million extra well then I would understand but 2 million in football money is nothing just pay the money get the player and move on seriously I know everybody has a right to there opinion but bloody 2million difference get a grip.

I hope it doesn't happen either, it will be a disaster for Everton and any club left behind in there domestic leagues, I really hope this won't happen Ed002 gave a good insight into what's going on at the minute and to be honest I am very worried about it.

Stef the blue

{Ed002's Note - It has been on the cards for a number of years Stef and is the natural next big step.}
