from RK in press conference just now

The latest is that he had his medical this morning. What I heard from the doctor was no problem. I don't know if still he needs to sign but I saw him in the Blue!

02 Aug 2017 13:32:04
nearly there Blues

Swansea City head coach Paul Clement has revealed Gylfi Sigurdsson's sale to Everton could go through before the weekend as talks between the clubs over a £50million deal continue.

1.) 02 Aug 2017 18:47:40
COYB this is the signing I've wanted since the window opened.

13 Jul 2017 07:35:59
morning ed, do you know whether we are interested in Arnautovich or is it just the Hammers going for him, thx.

{Ed025's Note - even though i like him degs i dont believe he is a target mate..

1.) 13 Jul 2017 07:51:17
shame that Ed, 23 million would get him too, I've watched him a few times and also won a few bob on him two seasons ago when he scored last goal against Lpool he would fit in nice, we were after him last season too, maybe aiming higher now or Rk isn't interested as he turned us down.

{Ed025's Note - yeah degs, i believe in a better side he would flourish but i believe koeman has his sights on other targets mate..

2.) 13 Jul 2017 11:40:10
arnautovic is exactly the kind of player koeman is after altho he clearly is a mercenary used us last year to get improved terms now using every trick in the book to get out of those improved terms. how long before he starts that crap where ever lands in the future would swerve him with no regrets if i was efc management liked the idea of welbeck tho would buy him all day.

3.) 13 Jul 2017 13:54:08
Give me the Sig anytime. Don't care what he costs, he would give us one mega midfield. I would pay to watch that. Oh wait I am.

12 Aug 2016 08:48:58
Jags is staying, confirmed by Ron Koeman, great news.

1.) 12 Aug 2016 11:24:44
Deserves to see his contract out.

2.) 12 Aug 2016 17:43:51
Great news, when's Koeman ever lied? ;)

3.) 12 Aug 2016 20:50:41
Jagielka has turned down many teams over the years and it didn't even make the papers because he showed zero interest in leaving Everton. He has been a loyal servant and should be treated accordingly. That's my opinion anyway.

08 Aug 2016 20:07:36
Yannick bolassie now ha ha, is there anyone left.

1.) 08 Aug 2016 20:48:27
Robbie Brady.

2.) 08 Aug 2016 21:07:09
totally agree, all the bull about all these players and nothing happening, easy to say give the boss 100 million to spend and f all players coming in, i could say i put up 100million also but can just do the same and buy nothing and put money back in pocket.

3.) 08 Aug 2016 21:21:20
Still 3 weeks left.

Raul Jiminez, anyone know if he is any good, never seen him play myself.

17 Aug 2017 08:37:32
few rumours about Lennon going to Swansea, 35 million please :)

1.) 17 Aug 2017 13:29:05
I know your joking about the fee, but if he has the chance to go and get first team football we should allow him to go (or at the very least be extremely reasonable about fees) . Just my opinion of course.

2.) 17 Aug 2017 13:31:03
I'd be surprised if he did go, I can only see this happening now if we bring another player in, we are lacking pace and he has it. but you never no, maybe he needs to go to give us the cash to get someone else, not sure how much we have left in the golden pot.

17 Aug 2017 08:28:18
Ross torn hamstring and out for 3 months, that's him staying then.

1.) 17 Aug 2017 10:10:25
No, that's him going on a free next year!

2.) 17 Aug 2017 11:37:13
thats what I meant mate, staying to run contract down, probably go in Jan for 10 million now, if we are lucky.

3.) 17 Aug 2017 12:29:32
We'll get nearly as much as that next summer so no point selling in January unless it's 20 mill.

4.) 17 Aug 2017 13:21:45
If the boy had any feelings toward the club he could sign a contract and put a termination Claus in it. Nothing high, just reasonable to ensure a club who is still willing to pay him handsomely whilst he recovers get something for him in the end.

5.) 17 Aug 2017 13:33:26
To be honest I'm glad he's not gone, I hope he gets his head down and finally sees what we are doing and wants to be a part of it, with the likes of Rooney, gilfi around him he can only get better, sign a new contract and become the player we all think he can be.

6.) 17 Aug 2017 13:34:16
Why Toffee Ace? He has a contract and he is stuck to it, the same way as if he wanted to leave half way through and we didn't want him to. He can agree a pre contract in January or sit it out till the summer. Alternatively he can sign again and stay. He has honoured his contract and that is becoming a rare thing lately and we have to respect him for that.

7.) 17 Aug 2017 17:27:56
Smit, I see your point and normally I’d say the same thing, but this lad has hardly showed a commitment to his contract. If he had a bid he would want to go. He’s not honering his contract the way you put it. He is a boyhood Evertonian who would rather play elswhere for less money if we are to believe what’s being written. I’m just saying he can do right by the club and have an opportunity of playing elsewhere and showing a little class in the process of leaving. Loads of supporters saying he’s been ill advised by his agents etc, but at some stage a man in his 20s has to take responsibility. If it comes across that I’m not impressed with the lad, it’s because I’m not.

8.) 17 Aug 2017 20:18:09
He has not put in a transfer request and he hasn't come out and said he wants to leave. Listen to the press if you want TA but he is honouring his contract.

09 Aug 2017 09:36:35
All the fans speculating as to what has happened with the Gylfi deal, most are blaming us, our own club, i'd hate to be on the front line with this lot alongside me. Let's just see what happens and who was actually to blame first eh, you never know it may be the other team

Hope Svenny is right with Dolberg too as he would be awesome, probably not cheap but no idea what he would cost, anyone got a clue.

1.) 09 Aug 2017 10:47:01
My take on this saga (rather apt as the subject is Icelandic! ) is that we are probably getting some carefully constructed misinformation. I suspect this is coming out of Swansea as it would appear that all summer long they have been shifting the goal posts in a probably futile attempt to hold on to their most prized asset. Given what the British press is like, it wouldn't be that hard to leak a few carefully chosen words to imply that Everton have changed their position. I very much doubt that any experienced negotiator would retract an offer already agreed upon unless the target was no longer required. Swansea on the other hand may be desperate to avoid losing their man or blaming everyone else for the continuation of this confusion. Perhaps they hope that the other party will eventually walk away in frustration.

2.) 09 Aug 2017 10:58:18
could be Mashy, if they didn't want to sell him though they wouldn't have wrapped him up in cotton wool and would have played him pre season, this could bite them on the arse if it goes pear shaped as all that cash and an unhappy player, bye bye Swans.

3.) 09 Aug 2017 11:27:05
my only problem is if as you think it's Swansea who have released this to the press we would come out and say it's not true as it doesn't make us look good does it unfortunately us mere mortals have no idea what's going on I just wish they would cone to an agreement.

4.) 09 Aug 2017 13:26:58
I've wanted Sig for a long time but given that he doesn't have a lot of pace anyway and Rooney doesn't have the legs to be an out and out striker any more, would rather we played Rooney in the playmaker role and moved on to other targets.

Baines, Keane, Jags, Kenny / Martina
Gana, Schneiderlin
Lookman, Mirallas
Sandro / AN Other.

27 Jul 2017 08:06:18
decent odds for tonights match

Rooney first goal 4-0 22/ 1.

I think Ace is correct as like a few people I've heard his personal like isn't exactly rosy, someone told me he has not been on the town since the incident a while back which sounds like he may have some issues with a few people, not sure how true it is though as just a rumour.

Also I think he and RK don't get on simply because he isn't that good and RK told him so, he had chances and i'm not going to slag him off but hardly lit up Goodison

We will accept 25 million last day I reckon.

if you were able to take loans whenever you wanted then a club with a few bob spare who was near the top at Xmas could take a few good players on loan, as they can afford the loan fees, thus having an advantage on the teams below them, i'd have no objections if it was under 21s though.

but the clubs with a few bob could benefit massively from this.
