What an attacking team to win a game, NOT.
To defensive with no striker, its a mystery.
Lets see if Gylfi is a centre forward. COB.

WTF. Martina must have something on the Club, he has to. If we win this with Gylf playing as a false 9, it will be one of the most genius decisions made by a Manager of Everton. If not then expect Dyche to be in charge Sunday.

All the hype to start Tom Davies and Jonjoe Kenny has failed.
Tom is easily knocked off the ball, no shots on target, overruns the ball and runs around like a headless chicken.
Jonjoe has not shown he is a first team player.
They though are not the reason we are in the sh?
Jags, Rooney and Baines passed it.
Williams should never play, why can't Rhino see this.
All the new signings a waste of money except for Pickford.
Nobody will want to come to us in January.
It's a pity we will not be playing Wimbledon
In our last game of this season.
Sad times, but will always love our Everton.

That is a sad post. We are in trouble for the time being but I still have hope. If we don't have that we may as well not bother playing any more games and resign to being relegated already.

We have good players. Need a manager who will get the best out of them. Don't care who it is as long as he puts us back in the right direction.

{Ed025's Note - im not resigning myself to relegation just yet NBTB but its difficult to argue with what mag is saying, where is our next win coming from?, we have played probably the weakest couple of teams in brighton and huddersfield and failed to beat either of them, its great to have faith and some are saying we are too good to go down but i can tell you now we are not, the players have no confidence and the lack of quality is in a word shocking, unsy is trying his best but you cant make a silk purse out of a sows ear mate, i really wish i could put some kind of positive spin on things as i dont want to feel like this but im finding it very hard at the moment..

Exactly my sentiments as well NBTB mate, I have seen people on here saying we are too good for the drop, what a load of tripe at the mo we can't beat anybody where the points are going to come from I just don't know, for me the only cance we have is for Mr Moshifi to move quickly and appoint a new manager which I am sure he is in the process of doing right now thing are very grim let's keep our fingers x that whoever is asked WANTS to come.

Don't think you can blame two youngsters for what's going wrong at the club. We have too many senior players who are just not up to it anymore. And as for the players we signed, they are not a waste of money, they have been poorly managed and are low on confidence. No point signing a midfielder and then sticking him on the wing.

Ed, one of the biggest issues is that we lost a key player from defence, midfield and upfront. all of whom created opportunities AND scored goals. Coleman, Barkley and Lukaku. and none of the new arrivals look close to being replacements. the only positive in all of this is pickford. that's the only area we have truly strengthened. but as I've said previously, what strategy were the board buying into with the addition of 4central midfielders. koeman may have wanted the players but the board bought them. knowing that we had not replaced those players mentioned. regardless we have who we have and for me the first thing the team needs to do is stop losing. not winning, stop losing. and the management team need to look at each opponent with a view to nullifying the scoring and creative threats. for me we need to balance the flanks such that wingers and defenders can double up when attacking and defending, they need to protect the two central defenders. Gana and another whoever is the number 10, or second striker to be able to interchange between a 4-5-1 formation and a 4-4-2 formation when needed. right now I'd honestly play Gana and maybe McCarthy there and take your pick between Davies, Sandro, sigurdson, Rooney to be that false 9/ number 10/ box to box midfielder. got to defend together and understand the main players of each opponent. they need to be drilled on the defensive aspects. the talent is there. just disorganised still.

{Ed002's Note - Before you rush to replace everyone you need to see how they react with Koeman removed from his post. Everton has some very good players who arrived this summer - they now need the opportunity to express themselves.}

A team is never too good to go down. Totally agree with that. We need a manager that can grind out results at the moment. I don't think we are in a position to go with someone who is established.

Not saying Moyes as the way he left and how he conducted himself leaving was disgraceful. But one thing is for sure, since he left we have been all over the place. When he was here we were consistant and steady.

Not calling for Moyes but do think we need that consistency and steadiness otherwise we are up s*it creak.

6.) 30 Oct 2017 14:21:57
Ed, I don't think I would replace everyone. the back 4 other than Williams imo is set. pickford set, then Gana for me is a definite. their me the rest is up to manager. I have my preference, but as I said it has to be the best 11 for a specific game plan, and that game plan has to begin with do not concede.
