Quick question
Last season we finished 10th with 59 points.
What does everyone class as an improvement from the previous season. A higher points total or a higher position. For example if we got 59 points but it was enough to finish 7 would that be seen as an improvement.

{Ed025's Note - for me MN this has to be a season of consolidation, if we finish within the top 10 i would be happy with that mate, when you take in the factors of running close to FFP limits and the effect of the pandemic...not to mention the new stadium starting i think we all need a dose of reality..

Really backing Rafa this season I think some will be pleasantly surprised just how good he really is.

I think it’s going to be up in the air again like last one especially with Euros and Olympics. Won’t settle down again until Xmas time. Let’s see!

All things considered, top half would be acceptable, but we saw how close 6-16th can be. A few draws turned into wins and who knows. I’d like to see us attack the cups too, give the fans something to cheers about!

To be honest I have very little expectations for next season. I might be totally off the mark but I think we are struggling with FFP concerns. 3 signings costing 1.5m in total whilst the rest of our contenders such as Leicester, Arsenal, AV and Wolves are strengthening doesn't tell me we are going to do better next season.

People who we have been associated with and we are nailed on to get such as Dumfries and Nunes are no nearer signing and the rest are just paper talk in my opinion

I hope I am pleasantly surprised.

If they can finish above last seasons position and make progress in a cup competition will be a forward sign of improvement for Rafa first season. If he can get to Wembley in a cup competition will hopefully win over some of his critics.
