Just had a listen to the Merseyside phone in and I'm embarrassed by some of our fans with one saying he had given his season tickets away and will never step foot inside Goodison until Rafa has gone and another saying he hopes we lose every game until Rafa is sacked that's right let's get ourselves relegated because the new manager once managed Liverpool and once said we where a small club Jesus what is wrong with our fanbase what I did find funny was one lad who said he will never go again when asked what if Rafa gets Everton to a cup final will he go the lad just ignored the question and rambled on about something else ha ha these fans are a joke and I garauntee if Rafa gets us European football and a cup win these same fans will tell the world they always wanted Rafa and take delight in winding the reds up.

I agree. My personal opinion is, its no different to a player joining that used to play for Liverpool. Wd we have complained if Gerrard came to play for us or if the great Ian Rush jumped the red ship? I say give him a chance let him find his feet and judge him in the new year!

Clearly they are not true fans and supporters of the club more attention seekers
The club will make decisions and choices that some won’t be happy with but we have to suck it up, I would always want to see the club successful
I don’t get why these morons don’t view it another way, we have created history having the first manager to coach both clubs, and I will Kevin Keegan love it when we get results against Liverpool
If they gave up their tickets…. Good! We don’t want that negativity in the ground!

Pat Nevin was spoken too and he said it was the same when he joined Chelsea and by the end of the season they finished 3rd and won the Europa League and the fans respected him I wanted Rafa I think he is what we currently need but some of the reaction is pathetic bud.

ST I disagree with your opinion that they can't be true fans and supporters if they hold a certain point of view. They may be angry but as far as I am aware there isn't a particular set of rule to conform too to prove if you are a good fan or not. Would you hold the fans that thought Allardyce was not fit for the job and showed their disapproval vocally at Goddison to the same standards?
