Let's be honest, if CA wasn't our manager we probably would not have been able to attract Allan and Rodrigues to Goodison and maybe not even Dacoure. These 3 have definitely strengthened the team and it looks like CA will attract more quality signings going forward so that's a positive sign of progress,

Being greedy though I am concerned with some of CA's choices / substitutions
I don't understand Bernard and Iwobi constantly getting the nod over Gordon. People will say you don't see them in training and you're right I don't but I'm seeing them in matches and they don't cut it in matches
By the same token either Gomes or Siggy are playing every week and everybody can see they are struggling. CA has to come up with an answer
Another one that I don't understand is Tosun coming on the last 2 games. Apart from the announcer telling us he has come on I've never seen or heard of him then throughout the rest of the match and there's nobody to put crosses in.
On the whole I like what CA has achieved but I am still worried in places.

Agreed, he has these expensive squad members who are just not doing it and then some young players who have little experience. I think he is trying to push the likes of Siggy, Gomes and Iwobi to the level they should be playing. CA believes in his ability and expects that he can improve the quality of these players. I do see a stubborn streak in CA in that he maybe he continues on this strategy too long. Sooner or later he will get fed up and drop and eventually get rid. He has brought in three players who have improved the side and his objective is obviously going to be to continue this recruitment policy although it may well be dictated by financial aspects.
I do hope that he changes his mind and gives Gordon and Simms a chance in the near future.

You got to feel for Ancelotti, he knows his best 11 but take 2,3or4 out and were poor. A half fit Rodriguez is preffered over Iwobi and that says everything. Once Ricky is back and Rodriguez is fit we'll look a different side.
Defensively its been individual errors and that is mostly concentration. Having Holgate back will definitely help once he's settled back in. Question is, who's his defensive partner?

Not at the moment ed, Keane had a few good games at the start of the season but has been aufull lately and was terrible last season holgate is not is also hot and cold . just not for me I'm afraid ed, maybe being a blue has made me miserable 😠.

I like Holgate I think since he threw Firming into the advertising board. I mean what's not to like.

Because of I don't rate sigs, holgate, Keane, iwobi, gomes, Mina, Delph, Pickford, Bernard, 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Ok let's keep them and just sit mid table again . thought I was a secret red? Now I'm dark clouds. Wonder what I will be called next for having a go at players that don't perform . no wonder dark clouds has disappeared . I wonder if gingerdan is really M Keane 🤔🤔🤔.

You're certainly a miserable Skylark but I don't know you well enough to know whether it's because you are a blue or not or maybe you don't like social distancing. Cheer up - it will get better- one day

I don't know CA's motivation for sticking with Bernard/ Iwobi over Gordon or Siggy/ Gomes and now even Tosun over simms. Maybe he does rate them and think he can improve them, maybe he is just putting them in the shop window for Xmas transfer window. All I worry about is we still need to progress and win points and we need to cultivate our youth coming forward rather than possibly making them look elsewhere

At the end of the day though he is our manager, with a far better CV than mine so I will have to continue to trust in him and his judgement (until I can say I told you so and he should have done it sooner) . DCL is living proof he knows what he is doing.

Maybe dark clouds is ed02 blue247 . and I didn't think dark clouds was that miserable compared to me.
