Quick Question would anyone else take a punt on Jack Wilshire on a pay as you play type deal similar to what we did with Saha?

On his day offers miles more than Sig and TD just think Carlo might be able to get him back firing

Definitely a player in there just depends on his hunger I guess.

{Ed025's Note - dodgy one that yorkie, spends most of his time on the treatment table these days mate, if a pay as you play deal could be worked out then maybe but i doubt his team would agree to that..

It’s a real shame, good player on his day! Just seems another example of a kid getting too much too soon and then hunger going a bit, 34 full England caps before he was 19, Mad to think he is done at 28.

{Ed025's Note - even in the last couple of seasons at arsenal he was very seldom fit to play yorkie, hence the nickname...jack wheelchair..

I think Sunday showed that the current system needs pace, and without Richarlison even the quality of James is negated - just a little too slow. Put Siggs in there as part of a re-jig and we are in trouble.

Would Wilshere solve that? Not sure, even without his injuries.

Not for me, spends too much time on the floor, a strong breezes knocks him over, Richarlson is bad enough but Wiltshire is on another level.

It’s a no from me (not that I’ve got a say) the fact that he’s without a club speaks volumes as does the fact West Ham paid his contract off.

Talksport this morning were on about how city should maybe go in for Sturridge to solve their striker issue. I know a poster in here previously said we should look at him but again the fact he’s without a club speaks more about him than his availability.

These two were good players on their day just a shame those days few and far between and evidently long gone.

Would rather promote a youngster from under 23s than look at Wilshere.

Not sure washed up talent is what we need, I can understand there is probably a need to have a mildly successful season, after so many disappointing ones with so much money spent, but to throw more away on either of them is stupidity.

324 days injured since 16/ 17 season and that's only half the story really, like with Sturridge and Carroll someone somewhere has to say, 'Look mate this is more than a bit of bad luck' 🤔.

{Ed025's Note - at least if it was pay as you play it would only cost us 24p 247.. :)
