Pickford-7: Can't blame him for the goal, solid throughout

Kenny-6: Looked okay before the injury and I hope he's back soon

Keane-8.5: Fantastic pass for DCL and he was incredible defensively again, really stepped up this season

Digne-7.5: Done by Haller a few times in the air but he is a giant compared to Digne, solid on the ball and did well mostly

Nkounkou-8: We were worried about him defensively but he pocketed Yarmolenko, didn't let him cut in, didn't get forward as much as we would've liked but he was very good once again

Allan-7.5: Thought he was solid on and off the ball, so important to us hopefully he is back soon

Delph-7.5: Not his biggest fan but felt he was good last night, kept it well, ran the midfield and aside from a few moments in which he was reluctant to pass forward, he did well

Sigurdsson-6: Didn't really do anything good or bad

James-8.5: He's class isn't he, a whole other level compared to anyone else on the ball, keeps it well and his passing is ridiculous

Calvert Lewin-9: Yep, hattrick but his overall play was very good and he's on fire right now

Richarlison-8: Don't care that his goal was a deflection he was really good, works his socks off every game, drives us forward and is another player like James, different of course but in terms of his aggression and work rate, it's another level

Coleman-6.5: Solid when he came on as expected

Iwobi-6.5: Unlucky to hit the post but his lack of pace really let's him down, it's not just that he lacks pace, it's that he's incredibly slow, probably the slowest player in our squad but he has his moments of creativity

Doucoure-7: Shaky when he came on but then he just dominated everything, drove forward, won the ball, kept the ball and did everything right

Not a great performance but we won and scored 4 goals so it's hard to complain, I really want us to win this cup now, I wanted it anyway but once you realise you're 4 matches away from winning it, that really excites you.

Good review Swan. I though Delph was a bit shaky the first 10 minutes but after that he really played well. Let's hope he can keep Davies out of the team. Doucoure gave it away a few times today and on the weekend which is a little but worrying but his strength speed and work rate are unquestionable.

Anyone heard anything about the injury news?

Think that's a bit harsh on Sigs. Thought he had his best game for 2 years for us.

{Ed025's Note - i thought he played well toffeapple..

Another strong performance and great result. Whole team worked hard and a few players were outstanding. Unfortunate with the injuries and hopefully nothing too serious for all 3. West Ham, Palace, WBA and Spurs have some very good players so they’re always going to dominate and create chances at times in a game. But we always looked capable of scoring against all 4. We have started the season on fire and hopefully can play consistantly like this for long periods this season. The improvements are there for all to see and long may we continue improving COYB!

Sigs easy his best game, and set up a goal. 7.5 for me.
Iwobi isn’t slow he’s like a young horse who’s legs don’t work in tandem with his brain😂.

I agree Ed, I am hoping that Carlo can gently encourage our 'hot and cold' contingent to get consistent and stay there mate .

{Ed025's Note - its time for them to step up to the plate now 247 or get shipped out, we have a few injuries now and this is their time to prove their worth, we cant afford to carry passengers mate..

Absolutely Ed, assuming Gylfi et al have the required amount of 'smarts' it is Carlo Ancelotti and for them individually an 'opportunity' maybe their last mate.

{Ed025's Note - carlo will not suffer fools gladly 247, its his way or the highway mate and all the players know that..

Definitely Ed25. Other than him and Rodders having a couple of wobbles where they got in each others way, I think they started to form a very dynamic and different partnership. Can only be a good thing for all involved. If Sigs gets a small amount of self confidence, he should and could have got his shooting boots on too. He's definitely playing for the team now. Think it's time to give 1 or 2 a new start.
