Hope richarlison plays tomorrow night and gets his first goal of the season. Once he breaks the duck they will come regularly.

Rather see him play an hopefully score than give Kean a run again for another 50% performance.

Oh I forgot about Gordon too

That team should easily be beating a League 1 team

If against a League 1 team 2 matches in we are panicking and throwing out our best 11 then we may aswell pack in the season now.

{Ed025's Note - im not advocating our full best team mate, but a bit more of a threat up front would be nice, maybe richie and DCL up front get a lead then drag them off..

I can see the argument to have DCL and Richarlison play, I mean in an ideal world we get the game wrapped up at half time and get them off the pitch safely

It’s a big game for Kenny by the way because he didn’t impress against Salford and who knows how long we will last in this competition for him to save his Everton career.

Moise K shouldn't get selected for any match day squad again as far as I'm concerned. He is terrible. Probably the biggest joke we have on our books. He genuinely makes me angry with his displays. Who gave the green light to pay 27mil. Its a bad joke. Serious attitude problem and the touch of a whale. Waste of a position, may as well give him a Fleetwood shirt and start 12 v 10.
How many more chances does this kid need for people to see it? Do you have a TV? Or do you listen on the wireless? GET HIM OUT.

Comes to something when we can’t risk playing players on 59-60k a week to get us through a cup tie against Fleetwood.
Games are going to come thick and fast and I think DCL, Richi, etc need to keep fresh and avoid injury - obviously not at the expense of going out of cup.
Centre backs - particularly Keane would be a disaster if he picked up an injury so it’s a fine balance to be had.

Ballasi, iwobi, Davies, Bernard, kenny, etc should all be playing - I think kean will start - I agree he needs to be moved on but his job is to allow our front 2 to rest

I don’t think Swan’s team will be too far off but probably Davies will be in - on him - I’m sorry but loaning him out will not see him come back a better player - he had a lot of game time last year and showed very little.
I think he will be loaned and moved on at end of the season - especially if Gbamin manages to get fit.

Not bothered about Richarlison scoring to be honest. The lad with his skill and work capacity makes things happen. If somehow we could unearth a bargain RWB before window end, that would be some midfield and forward line: Rikki, DCL, RWB, Rodrigues,
Doucoure, Allan.
Back 5 (with GK) .

Simms needs to play before Kean. At least you know with Simms he is going to look interested and try his hardest. Plus I think he is one of our most out and out strikers at the club.

Agree Dentie -would like to see Simms given a start tonight, him and Gordon should do well together. Put a decent midfield and defence out and see what Simms and Gordon can do.
I’m sure Carlo will put out a strong team as he should be aware that this is possibly our best chance of silverware and european football for a long time.
