To date with sales and departures we have saved approximately 270k per week on players wages. If we were to sell Bernard (one of the few players we could actually make a profit on) . Then that would save another 120k. Add Delph, Tosun, Walcott and Sigurdsson and you would have another 340k per week.
Total saving of 730k per week or roughly 3m a month.
This is why we have to reduce our wage bill, and bare in mind this doesn't include U23 players and below. All who earn a decent wage from the club.

Absolutely mate. And all the players you mention offer very little! Although that's why it'll be nigh on impossible to shift them!

Spot on when we loose a few due to their contracts expiring then we will be in a much better place.

Agree witht he sentiment and that we will save a large chunk of cash by offloading the players mentioned but it's a bit more complicated thatn it seems, for me at least. If those players are moved on, we then have to replace them and get them bedded into the team in the next couple of weeks! Brands and Carlo will definitely be busy sorting this mess out.

Agree bluepotato, but I don’t see us buying as many as we sell. Therefore we should still be able to reduce the overall wage bill.
As for bedding in, they just have to turn up and they will do better than this lot mentioned😂.
