Ed25 - you mentioned that if we sold Gordon then we would probably look at a higher quality striker. Who do you think we could get in? Would you still see us getting a second striker in like Maupay or Adams?

We knew about DCL from the start of the season and here we are game week 4 still without a striker 9 days left before the transfer window closes let’s hope we get one soon.

Standard Everton PB. But according to ed we had Maupay lined up but now with Gordon money are probably looking for someone better. I'd have still gone ahead with Maupay regardless and still tried for another with the Gordon money. We definitely need 2. Rondon is rondon and dcl is hit and miss when he plays and injured far to often.

Sky reported Chelsea will offer up to 60mill for Gordon. Some serious money that.

Not sure how they would know though, I doubt the Chelsea negotiators are telling jurnos their max prices for players.

News nows gone mad. Spuds 50m offer on way. Chel up to 60m offer. And Coleman to start against Fleetwood. Its an odd assembly of headlines. Smirks aside that sounds like it's heating up for Gordon. We really probably want a mini bidding war and I'm sure Newcastle may get involved so who knows what deal will be struck. So long as we get 72 hours to spend it. Can't be left in a Lukaku last minute deal situation again as we're still feeling that co9k up. Also Gordon's going to want London right? And after deleting all Everton links from his social media (whatever that's meant to mean) Chelsea have 1 or 2 players we'd like in return right? They must be the final destination.
