Wondering if the Ed can tell us anything about Calvert Lewin moving on? And if he was to go I'd be trying to get Eddie Nketiah as his replacement on a free too! Probably has bigger clubs in better positions looking at him.

Bluetoff94

{Ed002's Note - Dominic Calvert-Lewin (S) with Everton in need of adding a striker the chances of DCL being sold unless a very significant offer arises are small. However, Arsenal are still looking for a striker and interest remains. The Real Madrid coach has said he is one of the rare English players who he thinks would take to football on the continent - so there may be interest. Other clubs looking for a striker such as Spurs and Newcastle have other preferred options. Manchester United may also provide an option.
Eddie Nketiah (S) Will look to other options in the summer. Bayer Leverkusen, Brentford, Borussia Muenchegladbach and West Ham might provide options, Leeds perhaps another. Has been offered to Newcastle, who need another striker still, and Crystal Palace as well. Free Agent in the summer. Arsenal are trying to have him sign a new deal. West Ham and Crystal Palace are likely the preferred options, and he would be a starter.}

1.) 10 May 2022 08:02:11
Think Eddie will have offers from other teams in a better position than us.

2.) 10 May 2022 11:53:39
I'm not really buying into Brentford and Leeds being better options. If we stay up, I highly doubt either of those two being more successful in the coming season or the future at all.

3.) 10 May 2022 13:50:17
West Ham are favoured.

19 Apr 2022 13:57:26
Ed, do you expect it to be a busy summer at goodison if we manage to stay up?

Bluetoff94

{Ed002's Note - I think that there will be changes so yes.}

1.) 21 Apr 2022 23:24:22
Be a busy summer if we go down too as most of our players would want to leave and the ones who’d stay are barely championship level.

09 Mar 2022 16:28:54
Ed's quick question! Any truth in any of these rumours linking us to a few players from the Ukrainian and Russian leagues? Hearing we are looking at tete, marlon, Pedrinho, dodo and even neres is there any truth in this at all?

Bluetoff94

{Ed002's Note - No. Everton has no space in the squad.}

1.) 10 Mar 2022 15:27:05
Ed 002, do you know if there are any plans to bring back Gbamin?

{Ed002's Note - There is no space in the squad.}

2.) 10 Mar 2022 19:41:42
I understand that, ed 002, was just wondering if the club are looking to bring him back to the UK with what is happening in Russia right now.

3.) 10 Mar 2022 21:31:19
Looks like their trying to bounce him on to a club in Italy.

4.) 10 Mar 2022 19:41:42
I understand that, ed 002, was just wondering if the club are looking to bring him back to the UK with what is happening in Russia right now.

{Ed002's Note - He has the option to relocate if he wishes. I am not so sure the UK comes in to the equation at this time.}

5.) 11 Mar 2022 01:33:57
Thanks for the reply ed002.

31 Jan 2022 19:24:57
Ed's seeing rumour we are after one more player after alli (who I think could be one of the best buys we've ever made in recent times! ) any idea who the other one is?

Bluetoff94

{Ed025's Note - idrissa gana gueye has been mentioned along with jovic of madrid BT, i think they are both unlikely myself mate..

1.) 31 Jan 2022 19:50:33
Unless already in the pipline I think we have left it to late.

31 Aug 2021 21:42:54
Seeing aurier is terminating his contract with spurs maybe just maybe we go there?

Bluetoff94

1.) 31 Aug 2021 21:59:49
Is Tony Hubbert available?

{Ed025's Note - i would take old mother hubbert at this stage 770.. :)

2.) 31 Aug 2021 22:25:14
Elemahondy is a free agent. 😜.

3.) 31 Aug 2021 23:11:30
It will be Aurier because we can sign him after the window closes. And let’s face it there’s nobody else left.

4.) 31 Aug 2021 23:13:38
We should be going all out to get him as he is 100 times better than Kenny and can be a starter ahead of Coleman.

5.) 31 Aug 2021 23:20:06
Is he any good? Serviceable at least? It is still Tony Hibbert for me. Or Holgate. Or Godfrey. Or Kenny. Or.3 CB and 2 wingbacks.

6.) 31 Aug 2021 23:23:59
Look taking account of financial constraints for me Everton have done good business. The only money millstone left is Rodrigues, he now has to grow his cajones man size and show his willingness to earn his not unsubstantial wages. We have wingers that can cross the ball and we have 3 strikers that will work their socks off.

7.) 31 Aug 2021 23:41:27
How much do you think Delph is on Bill. Frankly I'd rather have Rodriguez at least he scores and provides assists. The likes of Delph and Gomes offer nothing, zero assists and 2 goals between them.

8.) 31 Aug 2021 23:47:36
Delph 80k and free plasters for life.

9.) 01 Sep 2021 01:48:45
Gomes 80k and a years supply of Just for Men.

So after a night to sleep on what was a painful loss in what was seen beforehand as an important game it hurt massively, but we have 17 games left to go and need somewhere around 12 to 15 points. Everyone is being very negative and forgetting Saturdays performance, we are going to lose games and there will be good and bad times under frank. However we've still got 17 games to play that's 51 points. We've got to play Leeds, Brentford, Wolves, Leicester, Newcastle and crystal all at home, add to that Watford, burnley and Southampton away. We need some perspective lampard will have learnt hard lessons last night but we lost 2 of our better players inside 30 minutes. We have to all dig in and get behind each player for every single game now! You saw our players were scared of the atmosphere last night. When Newcastle come to goodison they will not be anywhere near the side they were last night. I'd take 17th now and just build over the summer. I think van de beek is going to be huge for us and looked promising last night. Also our only left back dropped out at the last minute. He's got a tough job but let's all back him and the players and go again for a big game Saturday!

Bluetoff94

1.) 09 Feb 2022 09:04:18
Fair summing up Bluetoff. There’re reasons why we’re in this mess and Lampard does not have a magic wand. It was a tough watch last night. We had little luck with injuries (and haven’t all season) , every 50:50 went the way of the crowd, snd Saint-M threw in a world class performance. I still believe we have enough in the squad to stay up comfortably. We desperately need Dom back and fit for the run in.
It starts with a win on Saturday.

2.) 09 Feb 2022 09:49:56
Only problem is yes there are 51 points to play for but we have only took 6 from the last 42.

3.) 09 Feb 2022 10:41:21
The past is the past. If we keep looking back we can’t move forward. The past also involved he who shall not be named, the future has lampard as manager with a different squad. Let’s be positive and push us over the line!

4.) 09 Feb 2022 11:38:36
You can’t be positive when you have a defence like ours. It’s almost a given that we will concede in every game we play now. Therefore we will have to score two or three goals every game.

5.) 09 Feb 2022 11:52:25
It’s called football, we can’t all be so negative all the time. We might concede goals yes but the best form of defence is attack. We have to back the team and stop being so pessimistic! Time to all dig deep.

6.) 09 Feb 2022 16:08:29
Did you watch last nights game?

31 Jan 2022 09:18:47
Well a lot more positivity coming from the club in the space of a week! However a very quiet start to deadline day and not many links around! Will be very interesting to see how the day ends! Let's hope in 10 days time we are feeling more positivity still with two wins in the bag!

Bluetoff94

1.) 31 Jan 2022 09:47:25
The Club don't have a lot of leeway to be honest. Think they have done well to get Lampard and Van de Beek over the line considering their starting point.

26 Jan 2022 07:46:54
Everywhere you read it's saying it's pereira and then you have people saying they aren't backing him. For me he's not the right man but I don't know who is to be fair, however we have to back the guy otherwise we will cause more hostility and toxic atmosphere which will not help the situation! We have 15 arranged fixtures to complete that don't look nice, we then have Newcastle and Leicester at home, and Burnley away, on top of that we have Brentford and Watford, Southampton and Leeds (also relegation candidates! ) we have games in hand on all the other teams involved in the scrap and probably the strongest squad albeit on the worst form! We have two weeks to get Dom and richy back fully fit, Patterson and mykolenko settled and bought into what we want them to do! We simply need 4 more wins and a couple of draws and we will be fine! It's time to dig in get behind the players and the manager and save our club no time for protests until we are safe.

Bluetoff94

1.) 26 Jan 2022 09:54:43
Sensible post, BT. I haven't a clue as to who some of these managers are, let alone know how well they've done at other clubs. It's a case of 'here we go again' with this managerial malarky. Board will make an appointment, some fans will approve and others not so much. It's been the theme of the Moshiri era so far.

2.) 26 Jan 2022 10:07:34
Can't argue much with either of you except to say it will be Moshiri that makes the appointment and the board will stand idly back and let it happen - the same as its happened in the past

It's easy to say but if I were the board I'd realise how impotent we are and do the honorable thing - resign

Moshiri has made it perfectly clear that he does not value their opinion over his advisors whispers into his ear. If they're not going to be listened to think of your place in history in the Everton story and just say enoughs enough.

3.) 26 Jan 2022 10:11:33
It's putting us in 'spectator mode only ' as in ' watch and stay out of it because you are not even mentioned at board meetings'
However it's ground hog day and it's getting to be a regular big'faux pas' that the fans even the most tolerant. . . the ones that cannot bring themselves to even 'boo' on match days to the point of total despondency.

4.) 26 Jan 2022 11:40:48
Of course everyone needs to get behind the manager, the team and the club and I agree that protests should be left until we are safe. People are going to vent on here though, it's a disgrace what the board are doing and people are right to worried and right to question it, to criticise it.

5.) 26 Jan 2022 10:27:22
Neither does Moshri know who these Managers and players are. It would appear to me (cynical old man that I am) that the whole show is being run by advisors (Ed's to be fair have given us their opinions and so much info and hints, it is illogical to think otherwise) and (my strong belief) a certain Mr U. It really is a confusing if not appalling situation.

See that Vitor Pereira now looks like he's got the job somehow. Ed just wondering can you shed any light on it? How's he got the job without even being interviewed yet, and supposedly lampard has a second interview this week. Why are the press so confident it's a done deal?

Bluetoff94

{Ed002's Note - Even Everton would not offer a job without an interview.}

1.) 24 Jan 2022 10:22:54
I would not be so sure, Ed2. We seem to just pick a name and they get given the job. This is the first time I can remember hearing of actual interviews for the job.

2.) 24 Jan 2022 10:28:37
Ed, that is what I’m saying why are the press so adamant he’s got the job when he’s yet to be interviewed that’s what I’m not sure about?

3.) 24 Jan 2022 10:57:14
These days you don't have to be in the same room for an interview.

4.) 24 Jan 2022 11:37:35
Well if I was him and we were 'Skyping it' then I would sit in front of a photo of an assortment of siverware including me dad's crown green bowling cups ?.

12 Jan 2022 23:19:08
Have seen tentative links to us bringing in Ramon planes the old Barcelona technical secretary. This could go either way he was huge in the development of their young players but also a factor in their financial downfall which is the last thing we need! Ed's any truth in this?

He plays an attacking 343 which could work with the squad we have. It sounds like he’s going to be interim coach with the option of another year. Time to get behind the guy and hope we can get 6/ 7 points from the next 3 games!

AMN won’t happen, all that will happen is Rondon may as well go to bed now lads, another 10/ 11th finish this season after another strong start we won’t be able to maintain it such a shame! Hopefully next summer finances aren’t a bit better and we lose some big earners we can spend and strengthen what is needed! Let’s hope dobbin and Simms are good as they’ll be needed!

Nope I just know my facts and if you read Joyce’s latest article it says James earns 200k.
“ James Rodríguez, who earns £200,000 a week, stays for now, which is another headache for Benítez, not least because it scuppered a swap deal involving the Porto winger Luis Diaz” so know you’re facts before you start next time.

Bluetoff94

{Ed025's Note - he is on £200,000 per week BT, we never paid a fee for him so the powers that be thought it was worth it...i dont..
