With Kenny now injured and out for a bit, and Seamus also injured, is there any indication that we might be considering Max Aarons before Friday? Haven't heard anything recently except some BS in the Echo that was purely unsubstantiated conjecture. I already rate him going forward above either of our guys, and he could learn the defensive side of things from Coleman and Digne. I'd think 20M up front or a loan with obligation to buy for closer to 25M would get it done. Probably too big of a deal to make this week and perhaps too reactionary to the injuries, but we've wanted to get a guy in for the future in that position for a while now and, to me, he ticks all the boxes.

{Ed025's Note - he has certainly got potential 79 but i expect us to muddle through to be honest mate..

I guess Godfrey may well have to play at right back, if Coleman and Kenny are out.

Holgate can also play there when he is back. We have plenty of cover there to make a loan or purchase for the sack of a few games seems madness.
