If Giroud is available I'd definitely be looking to sign him for the short term. 18 league games 8 goals last season is not to be sniffed at even if he is getting on imo.

Question marks would be over Giroud as he (his wife) was not up for the challenge in the past, and if you listen to Ancelotti, part of his decision process on who to sign has been their desire to come play for us, them wanting to come and play for him and the club! 💙.

I'd rather give Tosun and Simms a chance ahead of getting another high earner in. I like Giroud but we're already overloaded and overpaying. Give what we've got a chance first. Tosun isn't bad and suffered along with everyone with our lack of control and fight in the centre of the park.
