Just a thought. See Gerrard saying he is looking for midfield players to strengthen his team. Thinking this would be a good loan move for Davies, help rebuild his confidence and development away from the pressures of playing in the Premiership.

How would playing in a rubbish league make him a better player? Surely the championship or another premier club would make more sense?

Scottish league may not be greatest of standards but it’s a tough physical league maybe what he needs, but I don’t think he will ever be good enough for where we need to get too.

It’s about rebuilding confidence in the player, not pushing him to another Prem club who would potentially be in a worse position than us. The Scottish league may not be the best, but is physical and played at a good pace.

I can't see a prem team wanting to taking him on loan.
