The Center of midfield looks dreadful at the moment but I think that all other areas of the field look quite promising.

1.) So:
Out = £29 million
In = £35 million
= -£4 million

We had no money in January. This is why we didn't sign anyone apart from young Stones, whose fee was nominal with potentially some not insignificant add ons. The Fer deal was dependent on Heitinga leaving but Everton miscalculated the amount of time left on his contract believing he had 12 months more than he did so were relying on a higher fee.
I'm not going to get into how I know this but suffice it to say it was someone at the club in a senior position.

With Mccarthy plus barry and lukaku fo the sseason I'm satisfied with deadline day so long as in the winter we have 20-25 mil to spend.

Ed could you clarify something with me, how much did we sell pienaar to spurs for and how much did we buy him back for? {Ed025's Note - he was sold for £3m...and bought back for £4.5m lee..
