The 'Tom Ince' rumour looks strong guys, and I'm 90% sure is not a loan. Martinez will meet up with Blackpool officials this week to talk about a possible signing.
1.) Hi Ed first of all happy new year to you and all your posters on here. I pointed out in an earlier post that unless everton have a replacement lined up that they should not sell jelavic. I would like to further ask evertonians would they not like to see jelavic stay at least until the summer and see if he can get his goalscoring boots back. I reckon he has just been frustrated at the lack of opportunity this season and also a lack of confidence which happens to all strikers not just jelavic. for me and you might think I am mad but on his best form he is one of the best finishers in the epl as proved when he first joined everton. I am a rangers fan and when he was at rangers he was lethal and I reckoned everton got him a lot cheaper than you would have done had we not been in the financial mess we were in. so my message is give him until the summer and a chance to get back to his best ;) sorry for long post but had to get point accross.
finally what do you make of the fa cup draw could be a tricky away game at stevenage but you should get through okay.
{Ed025's Note - for me james, he is a very good player when the mood suits him, when he first came he was the best thing since sliced bread, but has since gone a bit stale, i personally dont blame it all on him as our last manager had him running around like a blue arsed fly, in the end its up to him to show RM that he wants to stay by improving his attitude, as i feel he does have the ability, as they say, you dont become a bad player overnight....good luck to rangers by the way, im sure your quest to back where you belong in with the scottish elite will soon be realised mate..

Some rumours saying we are after cambiasso, unfortunately big wages. Is interesting to think if he could take the premier league on fire for a season or two with us. Cheers! :)

I like him, not the strongest or the quickest but is so calm on the ball, reads the game very well, can pick a short pass and can tackle, not bad but he is 33 I believe now, still that wouldn't be a problem but doubt he will join

3.) It'd be like watching the legendary Graversly partnership again. That said, I agree with Mike. Would be a good addition, similar to Barry, but it's not a sustainable development to the squad. He'd contribute for 1, 2 seasons max.
4.) 2 seasons would probably do us as RM will probably take that long to identify and bring in all the players he wants.

I think Vincent Aboubakar (from Porto) is a good target for us. He didn't had much game time because Jackson Martinez is the first choice. We could take him on a loan, he is very strong and could be a succes in PL alongside Luka! Another player I would take is Demba Ba, he's price is just 8mil and I really think it's not a financial 'end of the world' for us. I love this team and I want all the best for them, but in my opinion, Defrel is not the answear. Cheers!

First of all, I want to hope all the best to Jelavic and think he will be a succes, always admired him. McGeady and Ince looks more than promising, but I heard from you guys that one of them will replace Pienaar in the squad. and hope not, because he's my favorite player :D And finally, Lacazette is a posibillity, for the summer I belive because, let's be honest, Lyon rejected 10mil from Arsenal, we would have to put 13-14mil on the table to get him. Cheers!
I agree with you mate, the transfer window is sometimes a curse. I for one, would love to see Lukaku next season with us :)
