Ed, do you think Robbie has done all of his business and will be using the youngsters as back up seeing as there is no European football this season?
Also and I hope I am wrong but I have a horrible feeling he may us Barry as a make shift CB

Just a general question to all supporters out there.
As we know we are going to need a striker or 2 for next season, would anyone be happy with Demba Ba? not sure about his availability/price/wages bit seems to do well when he does play for Chelsea, did the business for Newcastle.

Im not too keen mate, plays when he feels like it, bit like adebayor, without the excitment adebayor brings other than scoring goals, better options out there
2.) I think he'll go back to Newcastle and he's not good enough for us.

Who is available?
I for one wouldn't want Moyes back and think we need a bit of experience. With the quality in the squad and the potential money coming in at the end of the season that should attract decent enough candidates.

Think it could take him 6 months to get used to playing regularly in the Premiership but then he would be amazing as long as he stays away from injuries :)

IMHO I think we should stop looking at the championship for signings unless they are young starlets. If we are to push for top 4 and I believe we will we need to sign players of a better pedigree with a winning mentality

Tuesday night I thought we would put out a weakened side thinking about the semi on Saturday so I put a little bet on 4-0 Liverpool. When I saw the line up I was quite surprised and stupidly enough confident we could get something. Like 99% of fans this morning I have woken up still disgusted with the way we played and the result. Even some of my mates who are Liverpool supporters actually feel sorry for us rather than Brag about the result. With morale amongst the fans, players, former players and probably backroom staff at an all time low surely its best to make a change and give the new manager a bit of time to get to know the players before pre-season?

Barkley seemed a lot happier when he had Besic in there with him as he had someone to play football with, was wasteful first half and his tendancey to not track back when he looses the ball is the only thing that winds me up about him.
Roms touch and passing was terrible again but what competition up top does he have to worry about?
{Ed025's Note - i was very disappointed with ross and rom devon, i will tolerate players not being good enough so long as they give 100% but yesterday these 2 looked as though they never gave a toss and that annoys me mate..
