Looks like Utd want Lukaku 100mil plus 127 from the league let's hope we start spending soon.

Think that's his only option really as he won't play regularly for Chelsea if he goes there. Just hope it's a straight cash deal from Utd for Lukaku rather than them trying to throw Rooney at us in a player plus cash deal.

Sandro wants to go to Madrid and only has to wait another window. I can see him staying this summer and going there in January. Doubt very much we will see him in an Everton shirt.

Cannot understand the Rooney part deal, sure he was offered on a free so why would we take Rooney and less cash, that one will not happen, throw in Martial and ££60 million and worth thinking about.

I hope we make Harry Maguire one of our first signings, class.
It would be nice to have Keane along side him but if we believe the paper talk then he is off to United which surprises me, as I don't see they have a problem at the back, my wish Maguire and Keane.

if we could get 2 of - Keane, Cook, Maguire, Reid, Mee I'd be happy.
Keeper wise I'd still like Ruffier or Heaton - Pickford price is going to be crazy.

As far as a keeper goes, we should be throwing serious cash at Stoke for Butland. Test their resolve and his ambition. Would also be a massive statement of intent.

{Ed025's Note - that would suit me fine bullens..

03 Jun 2017 11:32:59
I'd leave Butland alone as firstly he will be loyal to stoke as they have been with him through his injury over the last year and secondly, it'll be best to see his form for a while after the injury.

I can't see that one happening at all.

Sorry boys but if we've offered £8 million for Pickford we're taking the piss either we want him or we don't, the one thing I love about us is we don't sell cheap, if you want our best players and we cannot match their ambitions then fair enough you can have them but you will pay top dollar
So let's not get ripped off but let's not take the piss either offer a fair price and if they don't except that move on. This is going to be a massive summer for us let's not blow it by trying to be to clever
Let's get what we want done early and let clubs worry about us.

Sunderland have just been relegated, and I personally think that £8m is closer to his genuine valuation than the £30m Sunderland want. We haven't got a limitless pot of money so still need to buy wisely.

I agree BT, Pickford may be a good shot stopper but i am not sure he is any better than what we have. I see his signing as a risk as although he has the potential to be a very good keeper he is nowhere near the finished article yet. IMO £8m is a realistic starting offer but I personally wouldn't go much higher. As always RK and SW will have their targets and I'm sure a new keeper will be high up the list.

My point exactly. I don't see anything in Pickford (apart from the few years younger) that is better than Robles. We need someone for right now. I'd rather have Schmeichel, Begovic, Forster, Foster or Hart than Pickford (although I think we could get more value for money from abroad tbh)

Get Ruffier done and dusted - class keeper.

Pickford is an 8 million keeper not good enough for Everton if we are serious about the top four. Seems to me that we are going for second rate players and not bidding anywhere near the top table.

If we did decide to spend 30 mill on a keeper I would expect a keeper a hell of a lot better than Pickford. Bournemouth have a good keeper in Begovich in my view.

I don't know about anyone else, but why are we pursuing Martina.

I don't rate the lad anyway, but even if I did, i would rather have Holgate or Kenny playing there.

They are both young and English and will have a lot more passion whilst on the pitch than he will.

Holgate is good defensively but offers nothing going forward and Kenny is a kid playing in the youth teams. You can't expect him to come in and be in a team challenging for a top four place. Give him time and not too much expectation.

Cuco will do a decent job with experience until Coleman comes back.

Thats a surprise 'Lucas Perez wants to leave Arsenal after making just two premier league starts since signing' .
