Don't know how true. various sources on the Internet saying that he has had a contract offer from us for 3 weeks now and Koeman is ready to walk away as he doesn't want the club held to ransom.

The reports on this are coming from Italy I think. But I couldn't see anything said that hasn't already been mentioned over the last month anyway. Still could end up in one of four clubs imo.

Read the article in daily mail on witsel just looked like they rewriting old story's I think we should drop are interested in him and look for a new midfield target he istarting to take the piss know it looks like the Napoli defender we are interested in is negotiating a new contract at Napoli and Swansea are wanting 30+million for sygurdson but apparently we are weighing up a bid for Bruno Martin's Indi for 12.5 million wouldn't mind him he's a good defender in my opinion we need at least 4 new players in before the end of the transfer window.

Agree Duke. What I'm seeing in the press with Witsel and more is just a rerun of stories from a couple of weeks ago. Same old drivel repeated as 'new'. Which means they haven't got a scooby, like us.

Any news on Steve Walsh? If it's true that Leicester has rebuffed our approach but he wants to come where does this leave us? Any views appreciated.

will we get Steve Walsh as DoF? Do you rate him? As for signings my hunch is we should all relax these things take time and when things get really quiet then club will announce 2/ 3 what do you think?

It's in telegraph city to offer upto 50 million. I would take as much as we can get. That money would get great replacement and have enough left to strengthen the team.
