Ed do u know if we are interested man city striker iheanacho sorry for spelling this lad looks class and seems not to have a future at city wouldn't mind us going for him.

{Ed002's Note - Kelechi Iheanacho will leave this summer to get first team opportunities. Dortmund see him as a replacement for Aubameyang and have already been in discussions with Manchester City, Hoffenheim have declared an interest but the request for Southampton to take him on loan has been rebuffed. Right now his agent is seeking interest from elsewhere.}

1.) 19 May 2017 18:00:09
Iheanacho plus Abraham as part of the Lukaku deal would give us a pacey mobile attack force for sure.

14 May 2017 09:37:26
Ed according to the times we have agreed personal terms with Sandro do u know if this is true and how much do u rate him.

{Ed025's Note - this season he has been excellent for malaga duke but before that was seen as average, even if personal terms have been agreed it is still way off before he is our player mate even though its a good start..

1.) 14 May 2017 10:38:28
Would be a good sign if we can get Sandro and pickford in early.

2.) 14 May 2017 16:40:34
I'm still not convinced Pickford is the best option.

3.) 14 May 2017 21:31:44
I with u southern toffee Pickford is a good young goalkeeper and definatly better than what we have know but would prefer a more experienced number 1 it's hard to judge Pickford on just 1season but if Ronnie and Walsh think he's good enough then that's ok with me.

4.) 14 May 2017 23:00:39
I agree Duke if we sign him would give him my full support but like you I think there are some better options, just my opinion.

29 Jan 2017 17:48:59
The people reporting that sunderland are close to signing oviedo for 4 million

1.) 29 Jan 2017 20:00:53
Mistake in my view if true.

23 Jan 2017 20:48:14
According to the echo say Genk winger bailey isn't in there squad for match tommorrow but a Belgium journalist has said that we have not made an offer or even an equiry yet for player hope that changes soon he looks really good

1.) 23 Jan 2017 21:17:35
Ed002 has said there is interest in ghezzal again so can't see us going for bailey.

2.) 24 Jan 2017 02:14:49
Think I would rather have Bailey, Ghezzal, good as he may be, already seems to think he is bigger than the club, the new management seem (and very rightly ) hot on attitude.

3.) 24 Jan 2017 19:27:50
Reading that Hull are in for Bailey and others have been put off due to a messy transfer situation partly down to Genk owning 75% and the boys father seems to own the other 25% of his sons playing rights.
Sounds a right mess

17 Jan 2017 12:48:51
Belfodil deal has hit a snag his management team want to call of transfer to us because another agent has become involved in it hope we don't let this linger and set a time limit to gets this done by then if not done we move on to other striker targets

1.) 17 Jan 2017 15:12:58
I saw that and also another report that we are having second thoughts so god knows what is going on, papers writing crazy stories just have to wait and see

2.) 17 Jan 2017 15:53:17
Who knows southern toffee just seen another roumour on echo live blog saying that a unamed German club intrested in him i only hope mate that we don't let this drag on and if we r getting messed about with by the player and agent we just switch r attention to other striking options

3.) 17 Jan 2017 16:46:48
The other agent was lukaku's previous agent and think still has mirrallas and henen on his books. He has a good relationship with everton and may help broker a deal. Possibly ed02 can comfirm this.

4.) 17 Jan 2017 19:11:27
told you it is all this third partner ownership crap, just ruins negotiations from the start, so many hoops to jump through.

Just watched r match in Europe one thing stands out is are serious lack of pace upfront which is a concern ed do u know if we are looking for a forward with pace as I think it's needed.

1.) 04 Aug 2017 08:48:28
Think he is called Lookman.

20 Jul 2017 21:48:21
Hi ed do u know if are Europa league qualification match is being televised on bt.

{Ed002's Note - No idea - try the TV schedules.}

1.) 20 Jul 2017 22:00:13
None showing up for sky sports, but or the usual c5 itv3-4 Duke unless there is a programme change next week.

2.) 20 Jul 2017 22:31:04
BT sport has the rights for European football so worth trying there.

3.) 21 Jul 2017 01:00:37
BT Sport have the UK live broadcast rights for the UEFA Europa League matches (just like gibboEFC posted earlier) , so I'd expect an official announcement sometime during the next few days.

4.) 21 Jul 2017 08:12:53
It's only 15 quid a ticket lads cost more than that to have bt sport get down and start as we mean to go on.

5.) 21 Jul 2017 08:53:27
Try getting one Johny, website is tits up when you click on buy ticket, all you get from box office is experiencing high volume of calls no queuing just to call back later, coming up to my first hour of trying and not even reached first base yet. H well back to trying to purchase a ticket.

6.) 21 Jul 2017 13:30:22
Update for Johny, after 3 hours finally gave up over the phone, website finally updated for tickets, booked 2 tickets, no option to select child ticket for my daughter, another 30 mins on the telephone, complaint noted and then had to send an email for complaint and partial refund awaiting, Loads more Everton fans having same issue, hope fellow Evertonians get their issue sorted. Stick to bt Duke be less of a hassle mate.

Hi ed just seen us being linked with the Italian striker berardi would u have any clue if we are at all interested in him I hope so as I think he's got a big future we have also been linked with Lucas Lima the Brazilian do u know if we have an interest in him personally I have never heard of him except for neymar wanting Barcelona to buy him.

{Ed025's Note - i have stated our interest in beradi a while back duke and that has not changed mate, nothing on lima though..

23 Jun 2017 13:01:46
According to some reports in spain that Sandro wants a clause put in his contract so he can leave for another club after 1 year of his 4 year contract me personally wouldn't see us allowing that have u heard anything about this ed.

{Ed002's Note - No.}

13 Jun 2017 19:51:08
Ed with Sandro playing for the Spain u21s do u think this deal will be completed before Spain start there tournament.

{Ed002's Note - I cannot answer questions about timescales.}

Agree with u Stef no chance with Costa but we being linked with William Jose from real socidead he looks a decent striker reports saying he would cost 25 mil what u think do u think he be worth a punt on.

Ed there has been a roumour on and of about us being intrested in sigining slimani from Leicester city is there any truth to this or just paper talk.

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any approach by Everton.}

Hi ed if we don't look like we are going to add a new striker in this window do u think we would put a cheeky bid to take Costa on loan till January before he would move to atletico Madrid then giving us more opportunity to find an ideal striker I know it's unlikely but it would get him out of Chelsea till January and give us a top quality striker for short term.

{Ed002's Note - Rooney and Sandro have been added. Why would Chelsea loan him until January, and why would he move to Everton, particularly given they have no interest in him. Would this put Rooney on the bench until January or someone else?}

Welbeck when fit is a decent striker not prolific but works really hard and has pace which are front line needs but far to injury prone to be counted on me personally would go for Kruse he is good finisher and good in the air as for vermalen no way we would just be wasting money and wages in him especially when he would spend most of the time in the treatment room his injury record over the last few years give testament to why we should stay away from him.

Prefer Gibson he is a good young talent wouldn't touch sakho at all agree with ed plus they want 30mil for him know that is a laugh there one name mentioned today who I think would be a good alternative and that is Bruno Indi Martin's played in premier league and adds good cover at left back and centre back.
