haven't been this excited since i was 10 on Christmas morning (50 now) .
Picture this: 1st day of the new season. huge roar from the crowd when Rooney runs on the pitch (and he's only warming up! ) .
He comes on in the 66th minute, first touch he nutmegs the defender, scoops the ball up in his right foot and smashes it into the back of the net.
The crowd roars more that even when Hibbert scored his only Everton goal.
YES, YES, YES my wife screams (hash't done that for a while either) . COYB.

MH think with Sandros pace and movement Rooney would be the ideal partner. Guy may be getting old but he can still see a pass. Just look at his assist stats for the Mancs.

Just picture the first home game of the season, Rooney warms up to come on as a substitute. The crowd roar, the likes of which haven't heard since bug Dunc's testimonial.
He comes on to an even bigger roar from the crowd.
His first touch breaks the sound barrier, but wait he running onto a ball, takes it past one, then another, draws his right foot back and smashed it into the back of the net.
