Apparantley bookies are saying we are favourites for Demba Ba
1.) He's actually on his way back to Newcastle for 5m so bookies odds mean nothing.
2.) Lets just hope that the bookies are wrong. don't want a player who only plays 1 in 3 games because of a dodgy knee

Everyone saying kone is too old, we paid £6m for Distin when he was 30 and I don't think many of us would call that bad business.
1.) Good argument but defenders tend to reach their peak later and go on for longer.

I think a few people are being harsh by challenging moyes' loyalty because he has let his contract run down. if he signed a new one then left during it then it would be 'he could at least on seen out his contract' he's damned either way. Top manager who we will miss, but exciting times ahead if we get the right man in (just please god not mark hughes)

I reckon he will play in the cup game - be same team as last week for west brom but naismith etc will come in for cup
It says we are bidding £1m though - for that price as a squad player its not that bad. he's better than anichebe was! obviously though would be disappointed if its just him as we will need a top striker to replace lukaku
I reckon he'll go back to brentford for season when he's fit
Rodwell would be a cracking player if he stayed fit but I think he's heading same way as James Vaughan
