We could really do with signing a few pairs of B****ks to help the players try and attack the ball! What a shower that was today. The bare minimum you should ever give when you pull on that magnificent Royal Blue Jersey is 110%! There is no fight in any of our players. The only one he puts his body on the line and i'd take in the trenches with me is Jimmy Mac. yet Silva won't play him! It's beyond belief sometimes. Why don't we try a different formation? We are so predictable.

That was the hardest thing about today.
Getting outdone tactically is bad. Conceding again from a set piece because of problems with the zonal marking is really poor.
But the lack of fight, that was atrocious.
But I think it's a big part of why we concede at set pieces as no-one is attacking the ball.
Manager publicly blamed his players after the game. He has a point, it's not all down to the manager, but isn't that best done privately? And he didn't seem to take any blame himself. The danger is that way he will 'lose the dressing room' if he hasn't already.
Maybe the lack of fight is down to our 'mid table safe but going nowhere' position combined with 'here we go again' when we lose games from set pieces but the manager needs to deal with these things and seems unable.

So which is worse?
1) getting a reputation as a 'sacking club'
Or
2) being a club that accepts mediocrity
For me the second is worse and Man United took the same view and aren't looking back.
I don't know how long you give him. Just hope that we have someone lined up this time.

I understand those that say constantly changing Manager is not on. I honestly believe this is different though. There is no evidence in the Premiership that Silva is capable of beyond six months consistency. This is supposed to be a better bunch of players on paper, yet even against Huddersfield they lacked confidence. Add to that he has started blaming 'his' players publicly, that is terrible Man Management. It really is beyond me why he was hired in the first place.
