Thank you for reposting that. New to this page in terns of posting but always followed your extremely well informed posts and information. Bleak times to be an Evertonian and I wish everyone understood how dire the situation is.

{Ed002's Note - Indeed, it is going to be a very bumpy ride.}

Disastrous Owner with even worse advisors. Should we head towards Administration do you think he'd bail the club out while new ownership was sought as surely being a Premier League outfit is more of a proposition for prospective buyers?

Do you expect the club to be sold this Season Ed?
BR2022-23

"Ed002's Note - Everton are still hovering around FFP issues and have profit, sustainability and ownership issues and face potentially significant penalties. They need to reduce the wage bill further and utilise the cheaper or free options available to them and utilise youngsters where they can. 777 Partners and MSP Sports Capital will look to answer Moshiri's dire need for a quick sale before the roof collapses on him. Investment for 25% of the club wanted by MSP might be the best Moshiri, in terms of timing and the stadium, could hope for - and certainly best for the fans. Circumstances are such that selling the entire business would be the ideal for Moshiri but with the money required to complete the stadium and the FFP issues likely to bite, it makes it unattractive as a package. Everton should run a mile from 777 partners for two reasons - they are being investigated over investments in two low cost airlines that have seen reposesessions and, if Everton and Standard Liege were to both qualify for the same European competition, then Everton would be excluded."

The situation now is that Everton will likely get no more loans from 777 Partners and may need to seek protection which Administration will give them. The process to deal with the appeal, the new case and any further appeal pushes everything down the road if 777 Partners do not get approval this month. It then becomes a reality and would see another significant points deduction of 9 points.}

Thanks Ed. It feels like this will be a repeated cycle for the foreseeable until such time as we as a club resolve the ownership issue. Has Moshiri totally washed his hands financially now to your knowledge?

{Ed002's Note - Moshiri is unwilling to throw more money at the club whilsts he pushes to sell quickly.}

Thanks Ed002 I understand that yet it seems the Premier League are not excluding the interest payments on that borrowing being used for the build. Regardless the financial position is woeful. Should 777 collapse are we looking at administration on top of all this in your view?

Dunc1980!

{Ed002's Note - I am not party to the accounts that have been submitted. Everton should make use of a Swiss company who work as an agency matching clubs to potential owners. If the 777 deal fails to go through, it leaves a huge residual problem as they have been lending the club money to pay the wages.}

Ed002, The % of our turnover is clearly killing the club. Is it the case in addition that loans to allegedly pay for the Stadium build, which you've repeatedly stated is not fully funded are deemed not solely for that build but also to pay for operating costs, ie Wages by the Premier League, hence our position yesterday in regards further breaches and charges brought. The finances are so so bad. It seems administration is becoming inevitable. Would you agree?

Dunc1980!

{Ed002's Note - The cost of improving the infrastructure (e.g. the stadium) is one of the items excluded from the FFP accounts.}
