Initial thoughts.

Defensively pretty sound again, looks like we've started at the back in terms of a rebuild.

Back 5 did well, Patterson is top drawer, cbs steady and even mickey did his job well.

Onana another who will be immense.
Iwobi doesn't stop running and so much improved under Frank.
Davies did ok but need gueye to allow onana to move forward a little.

Gordon, so torn as he's scored in 2 and shown fight and bottle but we may need funds.

Gray, needs to run more, seems lazy and we need pressing. Benched if we get replacement.

Mcneil - was prepared to give him benefit of doubt but he's been really poor since he signed. No pace and always cutting on his left foot. Another on bench for me.

Tonight shows we need a striker and wide player, if we keep. gordon. if he goes then 2 wide players.

Good to see Frank try 433 and we looked a lot better in midfield.

Interesting few days ahead.

What I took from that game and the ones against Forest and Brentford is we are getting points in games we would have lost last year. Half a yard slower from Gray and we could have taken all 3 points. Will our first win be against Liverpool?
