Tough game played well and thought we were the better side very close to having a good Team lots of positives what a difference a couple of new signings have made a striker or two and we will be fine.

Utter stupidity not having a recognised backup striker or two. Sell Richarlison, loan out two others, our so-called best is injury prone and yep sods law out for 6 weeks. Rondon suspended. Supposed to have had a strategic review. I am genuinely angry because the team played well but no focal point up front.

I have to agree with you DFS. Simms and Dobbin need experience but why they have been allowed to go on loan before we have signed anyone else as striker is just poor management.

I thought we looked solid and well organised and apart from the pen they didn't get a snif and I genuinely feel if Lewin played we would of beat them. Hopefully we will get a striker in or play Rondon next sat so we have a focal point UTFT.

Simms and Dobbin are unfortunately not good enough. If they weren’t loaned out they still wouldn’t have got a game yesterday before Gordon and Dele. I don’t understand why our fans can’t see this. Like I say it’s unfortunate but they’re simply not at the required level needed …. yet. I’ll be surprised if either of them make the first team before they are sold.
We very obviously need to recruit a striker who is up to premiership level which I believe we will in the next week or two.

I know Ed002 says the Broja deal will not happen and that he won’t be joining Everton which I respect but am I right in saying there is still interest there? I’ve still got him being our season long loan deal and from what I keep hearing the forward that Therwell really wants to sign. I guess what we want and what we can get are two different things.
