Is it true that Kean is 2 year loan with option to buy for 17mill? 10 Mill loss on a player when not long ago there was talk of 40 mill to go to psg. Can we never just sell a player so we receive the money. Its no good to us 2 years later.

Have to say it sounds a poor deal given what he did last season. Perhaps with the loan fee’s we’ll at least break even though.

Are you aware if the original fee we paid was heavily incentivised or spread across the course of the contract Ed? . So we actually didn’t pay £27m yet and Juve have waived future fee’s etc. Just a thought.

Cheers Ed002. Is the 20 mill fee due to the fact that he will only have a year (I think) left on his contract when he is bought? So fee is lower than what was being banded about earlier in the transfer window?
{Ed002's Note - No it is nothing to do with that, it is the best Everton can get who has an agent who only ever used the club as a stepping stone.}

Say if he performs well and a different team come in for him next year and are willing to pay for instance £40m or so for him would we be able to sell to them or is the 2 year loan something we wouldn’t be able to get out of?

Nort sure that it is a loss. Not sure how much Everton got from PSG or how much they will get for the two further year loans but add those to the 20 million in two years time and it is probably a wash, although far from satisfactory.
