All 11 starters can hold their head up were fantastic and deserved the extra half hour at the very list. I know we are getting a bit used to it but Ben Godfrey was exceptional. He keeps getting better and with him at this level we will have a chance to beat anyone.

The difference is massive, we don't even have 1 player who cld sit on their bench, we got battered in every department again, let's be honest.

{Ed0666's Note - Calvert Lewin would get on their bench

Agree with Birkenhead Dreamer and Ed0666 (add Godfrey and Richarlison) . We have a renowned and respected Manager and personally wouldn't swap him but here I have a controversial point/ question! Have we actually improved since Moyes? Is there evidence to show that.

Well we can beat the top 6 now Bill so I would say yes.

Yes and no but the decline since moyes is down to poor management choices, and recruitment from the previous managers has been shocking, also a bit 50/ 50 under brands but we are led to believe he once worked with his hands tied behind his back by adviser's to moshi.
The gulf in class from yesterday was massive but they are another level, I think the seeds of improvement are planted but they are a long way from harvest yet.

Martinez, relegated manager and let’s face it, awful manager. Koeman was a great player but not a good manager, did okay at Southampton. Silva was another young up and comer like Martinez. Was a mistake even if he did have some bad luck.

This is the first time we’ve had a winner in charge, someone who has won everything as a manager and the first time a lot of Evertonians have felt comfortable with the man in charge. I wouldn’t swap him for anyone right now

The board finally got it right.

Think a lot of questions will be asked in the boardrooms at Spurs, Arsenal, and yes Everton regarding money spent in the transfer market (before anyone says I know Carlo has only spent about 60 mill of our half billion? ) If West Ham under Moyes get top 4, when you think Antonio, Bowen, Benrahma, Fabianski, all Championship players.

{Ed077's Note - let West Ham get top 4 and then start asking questions. Still 9-10 games remaining for teams to make or break their season and they have a relatively tough run-in on paper.}

Top four will be Man City, Man Utd, Leicester and Chelsea. End of.
