Virginia-7: Did what needed to be done, didn't have much but didn't look nervous at any point

Kenny-6: Disappointing tonight, few bad passes and not really making the runs you want to see from someone supposed to be challenging Coleman, I don't think either of them can do the job of an attacking Right Back to be honest

Keane-8: Got a goal, didn't put a foot wrong and led the team well, no complaints

Branthwaite-6: Looked fine before the injury, hope he's back soon, clearly a talent

Nkounkou-8: Pace, power and loved going forward, yet to see him tested defensively but I like his enthusiasm and he always offered an outlet going forward even if his final ball wasn't the best at times

Davies-6: Really shows the levels between him and Allan doesn't it, he can't pass the ball further than 10 yards, gave it away stupidly at times and it's hard to see a future in him, he's actually got worse since he was 18 because his runs forward have gone aside from that one moment tonight

Sigurdsson-8: Mainly for the goal, assist and giving Kean the penalty, because his general play was really average against a League 2 team, he is a good player but I don't want him around the team every week, bench player

Bernard-6.5: Some good runs but poor finishing and poor decision making at times

Walcott-5.5: Worked hard but he's Walcott isn't he, doesn't offer much and tonight was just another example of his limitations as a player, poor finishing

Gordon-8: Final ball at times was poor but was a constant threat with his pace and drive, won the penalty, got an assist and was unlucky not to score, I have no problem with him staying instead of going out on loan

Kean-5.5: Unlucky hitting the post and scored a penalty but he was terrible tonight, first touch that even Lukaku would laugh at, his general play was poor, gave the ball away, was bullied by the defenders, on the floor constantly, missed an absolute sitter in the second half, I don't see the thing with him, no strength at all, first touch is dreadful and he's not that fast, he's not slow but he's not Lukaku or Calvert Lewin who can fly past people, maybe I'm being harsh he is just a kid but it makes me nervous having him as our backup striker because he reminds me so much of Niasse only without the work rate and without the silly goals

Digne-7: Came on at Centre Back and just did his thing

Happy with the first 10 minutes and the last 20, the other hour was too slow but I'm happy we won, should've scored more but it's done now, hopefully keep this going and hopefully this gives some of the young lads confidence because they did well.

Thought Kenny was fine deservered a 7. His issue was nothing in front of him. Sadly Walcott has gone over the hill and left his speed on the other side. Good display.

I'd have to agree with that swan but I'd consider giving JJK a half point less. Looked like his feet were stuck in the mud when he was sprinting forward with the ball. I hope he can change my mind throughout the season but right now he is definitely not our long term RB solution.

I thought Davies had a really good first half he was playing as a box to box midfielder his levels dropped second half but so did quite a few others Kenny is a puzzling one I remember watching him for the u23s and he was like a clone of Coleman's constantly running with the ball I'm not sure if he's been told to stop it but he looks a different player now.

{Ed025's Note - tom was doing exactly what he always does BMD...he was busy doing nothing, always looks to be involved but achieves very little, will always be a squad player until he pulls his socks up..literally..

Yes Ed those socks lol. Yep squad player it's true, I just cannot at this moment in time envisage him being Carlo's first choice in 'any' PL match full stop.

{Ed025's Note - im with you mate..

Squad player - just not our squad. He has had his chances to develop and is not up to it.
Take no pleasure in saying that but what’s the point in keeping him or loaning him - he has reached his potential - which I think is championship level.

If we could have the money back we spent on Iwobi and kean back we could get a 50 million striker 😫.

I think the majority of money we get back now will pay off will balance books a bit and don’t think we can complain about that - loan a centre back and if Carlos can magic up a striker from Napoli/ real/ Chelsea contacts on loan I think we are good for the season (maybe asking too much)

Not good enough anymore we can't keep carrying these type of players any longer, we are now starting to get players in who want to play for us now, in Carlo we trust.
