What do you realistically think you will achieve next season and what do you think you need to do to each and break into a competitive top 4.
Personally, I think you have a great manager but it will take time.
Keeper needs upgrading as he is too error prone.

Defensive needs more time together and you need more steel in midfield. I like Calvin Lewis but I'm not sure he is top 4. Given the spending constraints of most clubs, this could be a good opportunity for you guys. I hope you give your manager some time to stamp his idea on the club. You could come food in the next couple of years.

Good luck for the rest of the season. I hope you win a cup next year. Rivalry aside, you deserve some success.

In answer to the original post what do we need to crack top 4?

I'd say need a GK, RB, CB, RM CMx3, LM, ST.

Then we'd probably have a decent chance at top 4.

Top 4 is now a bust. Last 2 or 3 seasons it has been there for the taking, and we have got further away. Chelsea and UTD seem to be back on an upward trajectory City can now spend, and I won't even mention the gap to the reds.

Europa, not likely, so I would expect more of the same next season unless Brands does something sensational in the market and let's be fair our track record with that is not great.
