Carlo Ancelotti is set to come back at Real Madrid

The agreement on the termination of his contract with Everton is set to be completed, the two clubs are in direct contact then Carlo will re-join Real Madrid.

- Official announcement expected as soon as the termination of the agreement with Everton will be signed.

- Ancelotti won’t create any problem on his personal terms with Real Madrid and he’s ready to come back.

Liverpool Echo reporting that we are in talks to try and convince Carlo to stay. My view is if he wants to go then let him go. I do not want anyone at the club who doesn't want to be here. Who we will get in as a replacement time will tell.

If he goes get as much compensation as possible and make sure Iwobi going to them is also part of the deal.

Sad to see he wants to join the Super League! But as he said last week we can't have people their who don't want to be. Might have saved us a large compensation package in November judging by team performance last couple months. Good luck and thanks for trying I say.

Totally agree Ed025. If he does go and looking more and more likely it’ll be a smack in the face to all the fans who believed him when he said he wanted to build things here and be have built a team to compete when in new stadium.

Also to publicly criticise the ESL then to jump ship to join a club still in it will be ultimate hypocrisy.

I also don’t get why he’d go - can’t see it being for money as Real Madrid allegedly skint and we already pay him £220k per week or similar.

Real also got the potential UEFA sanctions ahead for not pulling out of ESL.

If he does go then he has led us all a merry dance

I think the silence from both the club and him suggests it’s all but a done deal.

I thought I would be gutted he's gone but it tells me all I need to know that I'm not bothered at all good luck to him at Madrid I'm sure he will have a nice 2 years before they get shut so what happens reg compensation will they have to pay a one off fee or do they buy his contract out either way that should help our finances a little and as for who would I go for either Rafa or Nuno for me.
