Wondering if Ed can give us any info on this Zaha situation? They want £80mil, rumours we was offering 60 mil plus tosun, thdn tosun an Mccarthy, now apparently we have offered just 52mil? Which obviously they have rejected if they are looking fir 80. Palace have bid for Mccarthy this pre season, and have tried to sign tosun in the past, them rumours Atleast made sense, the 52mil no player doesn't to be fair. Any info on this before I have a break down.

Read that we may end up throwing our hat back in for Malcom, I can’t see Palace budging. Think Malcom would be a good solution, if we can negotiate back down to the 30-40m mark. Also can’t see us spending 80m on Zaha then being able to strengthen much elsewhere.

80 mil Zaha, or if the numbers are to be believed we could get malcolm and kean for that price or even less.

The English market is simply too inflated. Teams don’t need to sell and can ask silly money. Agree with last few posts, spend the 80 mill elsewhere if poss. There’ll be some very good players available who are hanging on for bigger teams. Could well go down to the wire lads!

I think situations like this will back to bite teams like palace who massively over price players. People have said the don't need to sell and don't need the money, but eventually the players contract will run down and you would assume they won't sign again.

I suppose it gets teams like palace the most out of their players before they absolutely have to sell.
