My mates a stoke fan, just text me saying Kenwyn jones as gone on strike trying to force through a move to Everton. I hope he's having me on. If true stoke want 3 mill.

Ultimately I think for a short term basis if the fee was 500k or something he would offer cover for Lukaku, not as good infront of goal as Lukaku but should be able to use his strength to hold up the ball and do the other jobs Lukaku does. Just my opinion. Is there any point getting a completely different type of striker to Lukaku as we would then have to change our style of play if it was say Hernandez.
7.) Nothing exciting, but he could do a job, holding the ball up rather than actually scoring, and would add some depth up front.
8.) We might as well of kept jelavic. Utter donkey.

reporting utd going bid 40 mill for fella and bainsy. Really don't want baines go. But just say they do, McCarthy as got b a replacement for fella, Oviedo looked good pre-season so could be given a chance, ad like us go for a quality striker like huuntelaar and by a cheaper left back cover. 8.) All those terrified of selling Baines and felli for 40mil - I see it as an opportunity. We couldn't directly replace Baines at left back but could instead get McCarthy, maybe diame and a top quality forward. As good as Baines is our goals should be coming from further up the field rather than a left back. It seems seamus will add his own goals and assists too aswell as Barkley. We could possible get Moses in etc who would score and create goals. As long as the money is there to spend and is spent right I dnt think we should worry.
9.) I'd like to see us prepare Garbutt to be Baines replacement when he retires/leaves. He should be shadowing his every move in training
We have some very good youngsters that never got a chance under moyes.
Don't get me wrong I haven't jumped on the 'lets all hate moyes' bandwagon but how many times did we see a player like Duffy, Vellios or Barkley come in, be the best player on the pitch and then get dropped to the reserves never to be seen again as soon as a senior player was available
We do need a few more heads but we also need to give the players we've got a fair chance.
Look at Baxter! he was good enough to be our reserve player of the season but not to give a run of 5 games. Whether he could cut it or not is a different matter but he deserved a chance.
10.) Don't think we could get Huntelaar, top quality player with European competition (Champions league) at Schalke, would be good though!
11.) This rumour is from 3 weeks ago, some poeple live in the clouds with there suggestions, if you think baines is easy to replace your wrong, suggesting garbut who hasn't played a prem game is delushional, then poeple thinking we should get 50m, Manchester United rate baines at 12 and felli less than 23, poeple need to be realistic rather than just writing the first thing that comes and there head

I have it on good authority that we haven't a hope in hell of signing deloufeu permanently. We do however have an agreement set to extend his loan into next season which barca are happy with for him to continue his development.

Just read that west ham on about taking £30mill clause off ravel morrisons head to stop potential buyers. Well I'd put £85 mill on Barkleys head to keep him at Goodson . If someone wanted pay that then that's different. Nick.
