Good evening . I am man united through and through. A genuine season ticket holder from manchester. I can't believe we have only bid 28 million for your best two players. I firmly believe we will sign both of them, but to be honest it will be closer to 40 million than 30 million. Everybody seems to be blaming this on dm, but your beloved chairman has not stated they will not be sold, just won't be sold at 28 million. Let me ask you a question, if you went to buy a car tomorrow, how many of us would offer the asking price 1st time around?
This will happen guys, but unfortunately I think it will happen at about 4 pm on sept 2nd, giving you no time to replace either of them

1.) That's not the point. If you had a £20,000 car and I offered you £2.50 you would surely laugh and rightly tell me where to go and not want to deal with me again, presumably, if you had any sense.
And at the time your car's not for sale and you (presumably) don't need the money.
Would you encourage me to bid for your car again knowing I was rich but took the piss with a low offer. Imagine how your car would feel emotionally.
2.) UTD need to improve to win the league, city and Chelsea are both much better. They are under pressure to buy players so take them to the cleaners or tell them to stop bidding. The Manc fan who commented is correct though, Blue Bill needs to come out and say bid $45 mil or don't bid. That puts the issue to bed.
3.) I think the op is an honest opinion. But I think Utd are used to getting thinks there own way. This is only weeks after they had written a formal apology to Everton for their conduct over the Moyes deal and then this after a week of news paper stories stating Baines should hand in a transfer request probably prompted by Utd just before their bid.
4.) Fellaini and baines didn't like moyes, respected him, but didn't like him, both were asked along with jags if they fancied it and all 3 said no. Felli may move but it won't be to united.
5.) I wouldn't be so sure mate, you seem to think these players are nailed on but don't catch your chickens, I suspect a few more rejections first
