there are not alot of players that i think we could afford that would slot straight into our best side at the moment.

having said that these are some players i would like to see us go after:

RB Kyle Naughton - Spurs (solid rb, can get forward, would learn alot from nev and hibbo)

CB Philipp Wollscheid - Bayer 04 (very raw, but looks to be a great talent. though he's just recently signed for them)

CM Jordy Clasie - Feyenoord (probably out of our price range, but is just the hard tackling cm we need, has excellent distribution as well)

CM Adam Lallana - Southampton (has really impressed me thus far looks like he could play anywhere in midfield, a really clever player, still relatively young)

CM Vadis Odjija-Ofoe - Club Brugge (you all know what i'm talking about)

CF Jelle Vossen - Genk (quite similar to jelavic, real poacher and good instincts, could be lured by felli/kev)

anyone in particular you lot would like to see come in (realistically)

Vadis Odjidja for me, no question. Looks a real player. Have watched him on several occasions and would be a real snip at the £5m mentioned after loan has expired. And realistic, the rest, I doubt, though Vossen would be a good acquisition depends on the price and if we could afford him but Vadis should be priority in my opinion. The GP faithful would/will love him

We need to get a good centre back to replace distin as he will not play Johhny and Distin not good enough imo.

That lad Ofoe looks very good and Holtby for 2m as well would be great.

Probably a few loan deals toiugh in january

Vadis please.

Would you prefer to sign holtby for say 3m in jan or on a pre contract and get him next summer?

I know this is from twitter, but the lad is a scout, so he knows what he is talking about in regards to football, anyway, he said that in the past few days Everton reps have come into contact with Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko, who is out of contract in the summer, been courted by several Premier League teams.

Would definitely be a good buy, especially given his age and his price (FREE), would be perfect alongside Gibson in midfield. Wouldn't mind Odjidja-Ofoe though. Definitely need a partner for Gibson in midfield.

Lallana is not a winger, though he can play out there, he often plays just behind the striker like fellaini does nowadays. he could very easily play a bit deeper like osman does though.

i agree about distin, i think he is good enough for now but we need to be looking to replace him in the future, haven't seen enough of duffy to say whether he's good enough

No Lallana has played as a winger ever since Adkins came into power

Lallana is definitely a winger, good signing for any Championship team but wouldn't get near our 1st 11.

Vadis and/or Holtby would be great and I think we need one at least. But we desperately need a replacement for Distin who is ready to go at this level. Don't know any available though. He's doing better than I expected but he's old and a bit dodgy sometimes.

I remember there being interest from us for kyle naughton when he was at sheff utd, but he would only come to us if his friend would, and we only wanted naughton (gutted about that, becuase the friend was kyle walker)
