Does anyone know if Vic is injured? I really think he would be FAR more threatening than Jelavic or Kone at the moment {Ed025's Note - some guys yesterday suggested he was injured sc, but there is nothing official that i have seen mate..

sc

1.) Why do these people keep banging on about vic.listen please. he has averaged 3 goals a season stop this silly talk now.

2.) Kone has played 60 minutes. victor nearly 10 years now you make your own mind up

3.) I agree I think victor is a better option than jela and kone I don't think we should of bought kone from day one he is just not Everton standard

Bottom line; unless we get in at least 3 players with the money, we should keep Fellaini; 2 of the 3 would have to be centre mids too, because Osman is weakening and Gibson will always be injured for periods.

My choices would be Marrone, Moses, McCarthy/Holtby. If enough is left I would also go for Defoe. If Heitinga goes I would also like Alderweireld.

1.) Holtby never looked like the hype that he came with when he arrived at spurs. he mnight be a good player but he does nt look like he warrants his 67K a week. would not be a risk I would take. unless a substantial paycut was involved, i.e. at least 50%.jcl

Would be good if Fellaini went to spurs for £18m + Holtby.

Add the £18m to the rumoured £5m that we have = £23

Sell Johnny for £3m + £23m = £26m

Buy Moses £8m, Marrone £7m, Aldeweireld £5m, Defoe £6m

Wouldn't that be nice, blues?

sc

sc

1.) Not that simple mate. And Holtby is quite light weight, I don't want him. Yes he is a good player, but we have Osman, Barkley and Fellaini who can play in the attacking midfield role. We need a player more like barry.

2.) The transfer fees maths might add up, but we'd still have to accommodate the extra wages without breaking the new Financial Fair Play, etc., rules about year-on-year increases in the total wage bill being within certain limits.

Sell: Fellaini, Heitinga

Purchase: McCarthy, Marrone, Defoe, Moses, Alderweireld

What do you think, Ed?

sc {Ed025's Note - sounds ok on paper sc, but factor in 5 wages instead of 2, plus agents and other fees, not happening mate..

Ed

Do you genuinely think we have decent money to spend BEFORE selling Fellaini and/or Baines, or are you just saying that we have the funds to increase the hits on the site?

sc {Ed025's Note - the hits on the site make no difference to me, or the site sc, and yes we do have money to spend..

I was worried how easily Ovideo got turned on Wednesday night, but remember how Coleman got destroyed against Benfica; mind you, Stevenage are hardly in Benfica's class I'll admit!

If that is true then it's criminal that we aren't purchasing; Alderweireld and Moses both slipping away.

Would rather get the first 3 you mentioned, Moses, Marrone and McCarthy.

Agreed, I would like McCarthy and Diame/Jorginho. Moses would be good and Alderweireld (I would imagine this to only occur if we sold Fellaini and one other; preferably Heitinga and not Baines)
