Sky reporting that there is potential for another loan deal aswell as Barry and Mcarthy and vitalfootball.co.uk are saying we are after Aaron Creswell from Ipswich but they want 5 million for him

Although we have a strong team the numbers are the same and the wage bill is higher I don't think we should be taking risks by giving Barkley the free role. He is a wonderful player but all I see now is all our players shooting on sight since the Norwhich game no one is getting in the 6yard box for crosses hence 30 shots 6 on target. For me its not good enough. Get the crosses in and the players in there to get on the end of em {Ed025's Note - i think lukaku might solve that mate..

What I can't understand is that Reading are in talks to sign Mohammed Sissoko he was a free transfer 28yo and was willing to come to us. This could be a mistake not getting him. Even though we have a strong midfield we don't have the creative player who can put the final pass to jelavic feet.

As for transfer fees, what is paid by the buying club would typically include:
(a) Transfer fee - the big number.
(b) Any levy applied by the local FA ? 5% for the EPL.
(c) Tax due on the transfer fee ? typically this will be VAT (at varying rates across Europe) some or all of which should be reclaimable.
(d) Agent fees ? this may be to one or more agents (as an example, Liverpool have spent £25M plus VAT on agent fees over the past three years leading to this window).
(e) Tax due on the agent fees ? typically this is VAT at the local rate where the agent bills from ? it is not reclaimable.
(f) Intermediary fees ? this may be to one or more sponging leeches(what do you mean you have a super agent?) .
(g) Tax due on the Intermediary fees ? typically this is VAT at the local rate where the Intermediary bills from ? it is not reclaimable.
(h) Signing on fee to the player (possibly including non-reclaimable VAT if the player is VAT registered).
(i) Legal fees.
(j) VAT on legal fees which is reclaimable.
(k) Moving/relocation costs for the player.
(l) VAT on moving/relocation costs which is reclaimable.
(m) Paying up insurance costs to the selling club (sometimes waived).
What is paid by the buying club would typically include:
(a) If the player is under 24, a Solidarity contribution paid to his previous clubs responsible for his training - this is 5% of the transfer fee received.
(b) Any monies owed to the player if he did not request a transfer ? again this is 5% of the transfer fee received.
(c) Any monies owed to the player in terms of his contract (typically outstanding wages and bonuses).

2.) Martinez isn't interested in him would be my guess as to why we aren't in for him. Don't let your judgement be clouded, just because a player is on a free doesn't mean he is going to add anything different to the squad. Why pay him wages if he is going to get splinters in his arse all season

Ed what is going on mate? First Barry Fernando mcarthy and now they arw saying fellini in doubt.? Its unbelieable this Geoff. On a more positive note at least if fellini stays the wig companies will still be in buisness around liverpool

On here a few week ago someone said about at the last minute fellini will go we will hang on to baines not sign anyone but be relived we kept Baines, who ever that was is 100% right that is what is happening so bk gets the 25 mill. lads

Its just been on tv that the deal is 26.5 with a further million in add ons. Plus sky say we saved 750,000 in loyalty payments to fellaini so the deal is more like 29 million not the 23.5 man u want us to believe. Its not an undisclosed so the truth is out there
